BioWare details Mass Effect 3 co-op multiplayer in new video

Today BioWare released the very first footage of Mass Effect 3‘s co-op multiplayer, which was revealed through a variety of sources just a couple of days back. And by footage, I mean a bunch of still screenshots and a whole lot of talking about it. Hey, it’s something!

In the video, BioWare’s Casey Hudson runs down the co-op mode and doesn’t skimp on the details. Hudson reveals that your successes in the co-op mode will benefit your singleplayer campaign – basically, the more you win the better your ending will be.

Mass Effect 3‘s co-op has you and three pals fighting to take control of strategic points all across the galaxy. You’ll be able to select between several races, including Turian, Asari and, best of all, a Salarian. You’ll also have access to all of the classes, including Sentinel, Infiltrator, Vanguard and Soldier.

You can check out the 4-minute-long rundown of Mass Effect 3‘s co-op multiplayer mode directly below.
