Melissa Gorga Admits To Loving The House-Building Process On ‘RHONJ’

Melissa Gorga and her husband, Joe, have moved out of their New Jersey mansion that has been the backdrop for many scenes on The Real Housewives of New Jersey over the years. They moved out because they wanted to use the money to reinvest in a new home that would be built from scratch. However, the building process can be complicated, as shown on Sunday’s episode of the show.

While Melissa Gorga didn’t need a big home to live and be happy in, Joe wanted to make a grand home with six bedrooms. He wanted to show off his ability to create something great. And while Melissa did seem hesitant to pursue such a big home, Gorga admits that she loves seeing Joe build his dream home for his family.

According to a new Bravo report, Melissa Gorga is now revealing that she thinks that she and her husband make a good team when it comes to building a new home. Even though she was hesitant on the show, she now showers him with compliments.

“Joe cracks me up when he talks about how he builds houses. The fact is he really is so talented and has such an eye for custom homes. It’s his craft, it’s what God blessed him with. The only problem is he absolutely loves doing it, so he keeps wanting to build new homes,” Melissa writes in her blog.

“Eventually I’ll put my foot down and say this is the last one, but I can’t deny I love it too. I could move every 10 years and be happy to change it up a bit. He loves designing them and I love decorating them. We make a great team,” Gorga adds.

According to The Inquisitr, Melissa Gorga and her husband may have been delayed in starting their new home because of issues with their old home. Apparently, they have been having problems with a tenant by the name of Kai Patterson, who claimed that the home in question is filled with garbage and wild animals.

“Joe and Melissa are still living in the rental house, and haven’t even broken ground on their new house. There has been no movement on the project, and the lot still sits empty, with no work being done,” a source has revealed.

Apparently, these issues are holding the couple back from breaking ground on the lot, where they will be building their new home. But on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Melissa Gorga and her husband are only focusing on how great their new home will be.
