Camilla Thurlow and Prince Harry just made their relationship official, but sources say the couple is already talking about getting engaged in the near future.
Harry started dating the 25-year-old beauty queen earlier this summer, not long after his split with Cressida Bonas. After several dates together — including a reported sleepover at Prince Harry’s Kensington Palace apartment — the couple finally went official by taking a vacation together in Saint Tropez.
Sources close to the royal family say that the relationship Camilla Thurlow seems much more serious than any of Harry’s other girlfriends.
The Daily Star spoke to an “aristocratic source” who said that Camilla seems like wife material.
“Camilla is a perfect girlfriend for Harry and could make an ideal royal wife,” the source said.
“She has impeccable breeding, is gorgeous, discreet and moves in the same social circles. And everyone thinks it’s hilarious that she has the same name as his stepmum.”
Sources added that Harry is considering getting engaged, though those reports have not been verified.
Other sources have said that Prince Harry is “in awe” of his new girlfriend, and that Camilla Thurlow is unlike anyone he’s dated before.
“She’s the total opposite of other girls Harry’s dated, and it drives him crazy. She’s the most intelligent woman he’s ever been with. He’s in awe of her,” a source told OK! magazine. “She regularly turns him down for dates if she has something else going on and it’s making him want her more.”
But perhaps more importantly, Camilla also seems to share Harry’s love of partying — something Cressida Bonas lacked.
“Camilla is always the life and soul of the party. Harry is playing it cool because he wants to have fun, but Camilla could be just what he needs to get over Cressida [Bonas] once and for all,” a source said.
Camilla Thurlow may have come at the right time for Prince Harry. He is turning 30 this month, and as reports emerge that he is looking to settle down the young royal just got an enormous inheritance. On his 3oth birthday Harry is set to inherit $17 million from his mother’s fortune.
