The iPhone 6 release has apparently been leaked in an Apple document in addition to some new iPhone 6 features.
In a related report by The Inquisitr, at one point it was rumored that the iPhone price may top $800 without a contract for the high end version, although other reports claim the new iPhone 6 will not cost $100 more although the manufacturing cost should be higher.
According to a document obtained by the French website Nowhere Else, the Apple iPhone 6 release should be Tuesday, September 9, 2014. Although this leaked iPhone 6 info cannot be confirmed, it is believed by the experts that this would be a legit target date for an announcement at the very least. Assuming it is just a launch event, the actual iPhone 6 release date is likely to be 10 days later on September 19, 2014.
The reason they believe the iPhone 6 release date is on September 9 is because they managed to get hold of a product promotion box from a Chinese source. This apparently was the same source that leaked information about the fingerprint scanner for the iPhone 5S.
The only major potential disappointment is that the promo box only shows the iPhone 6 display size being around 4.7 inches. Apple was expected to show off two new models of the new iPhone 6, one with a 4.7-inch screen and another with a 5.5-inch screen that would serve as a competitor against the Samsung Galaxy S5 and Note 3. Those bigger screen sizes are the reason that the iPhone 6 cost to the manufacturer should be higher. Of course, Apple will really be competing against the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, so we’ll see which one is the better.
On the day of the iPhone 6 release date, we might also see a lower-cost option as a sequel to the iPhone 5c. We still do not have many iPhone 6 spec details except for the fact that the next-gen iPhone 6 will probably get the newer processor chips. The camera has also been upgraded from the 8-megapixel camera into a 13-megapixel camera, and a leaked set of parts indicates they will be introducing a “True Tone flash flex cable” that uses LED bulbs. The iPhone 6 is also rumored to have wireless charging.
