In a not so surprising report, it seems like WWE Chairman Vince McMahon is butting heads with someone in creative. This time, it is yet again his son-in-law and NXT genius Triple H. The two have butted heads creatively before as Vince wants to work for the market side and the money right now. Meanwhile Triple H wants to think long-term, and that hurts the dynamic between the two.
Vince used to think a lot about the future of his product, but due to problems lately where he fears what could happen during the launch of so many ventures, he wants guarantees. Something he was not always after beforehand. Keep in mind, this was the guy who thought of a football company to rival the NFL called the XFL.
Triple H now has that old McMahon thought of building toward the future and still working well in the now. The issue is that now they are butting heads once again over it. Brock Lesnar is set to work a better schedule in the coming months leading up to WWE’s WrestleMania 31.
There are a few ideas on the table. Currently, Brock Lesnar is the WWE World Heavyweight Champion and would draw well if he kept that title leading up to WrestleMania only to lose it to a young guy. Think about how over a person would be if they took out Brock Lesnar right now. The guy that has been pegged to do this all along has been Roman Reigns. Triple H really wants Reigns to get this role and go over on Lesnar and make a big push happen with him.
Meanwhile Vince McMahon wants Brock Lesnar to face Former WWE Chanpion The Rock at WrestleMania. While The Rock and Brock Lesnar were set to face off this past year but The Rock was too busy to do it and was still nursing injuries from his last match with John Cena. So due to the fact that Daniel Bryan who was set to face Taker originally was taken, Lesnar got the streak kill.
So Vince wanted to make that match happen this coming up Mania but again Triple H really wants Roman to be the guy Lesnar takes on due to the build. It would not be for the title, so most likely Rollins would cash in and face Reigns for it. Sadly the push for Reigns would not be as good.
The Wrestling Observer claims that Vince sometimes undercuts Triple H and makes him look bad, however it could be a simple good cop/bad cop dynamic. The Observer says that there are no hard feelings between Vince and Triple H, so there is no major problem to be worried over. However when the two square off like this, Vince usually gets his way. WrestleMania is far away, so most feel that Vince will end up having The Rock face someone else if he is wrestling at all and give Roman to Brock. We shall see what the WWE does however.
