Jerry Jones News: Dallas Cowboys Owner In Smutty Pic Blackmail Scandal?
Kickoff for the 2014 NFL Season is a month away, but the latest news on Jerry Jones is nothing less than scandalous. The 71-year–old Dallas Cowboys owner, who has a penchant for publicity, is knee-deep in controversy over “slutty” leaked images with young women in compromising positions.
In Jones’ team’s heyday, it was commonplace to say, “How bout them Cowboys,” when America’s Team won another Super Bowl and hoisted up the Vince Lombardi trophy. In wake of the racy photos kerfuffle, some are saying, “What’s up with Jerry Jones?”
This story reads like something out of a C-rated sci-fi movie, or never released scenes from One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest. But assuming this nightmarish story is real, Jones is in quite the pickle, citing a report by the sports blog, Terez Owens after the photos surfaced.
Reportedly, the questionable photos of Jones were obtained by the blog, but information about how or who sent them is unknown. However, a letter from a Frank Hoover dated “01/20/2014,” and addressed to the flamboyant Cowboys owner, contains a timeline of how said photos were discovered. It also contains the occasional segue to numerology, astrology and Biblical prophesy.
The following is a partial transcript of the letter (Uncovering the Truth) from Hoover and addressed to Jerry Jones. It reads:
God gave me these photos and I was given a choice. I could sell them and ruin your life in the media,make millions and tell my story or I could hold them in secret and suffer until I reached you. So, I gave myown life to save yours. It’s a bold statement and the next statement is even bolder. It may scare you, butyou have to believe in who I am. I know this because I am the Son of God and he sent me to you. Jerry,you and the Cowboys are the Star we will use to Light My Path…”

Jones is no stranger to being in the public’s eye. The hands-on Cowboys owner plays well in front of the camera and has much of his life invested in the mercurial NFL franchise. With his vision of having a more productive season, this latest distraction is something he nor the team needs ahead of the season.
According to Pro-Football-Reference, the Dallas Cowboys managed.500 in the 2013 regular season, and haven’t won a Super Bowl since 1995 vs. the Pittsburgh Steelers.
As Huffington Post wrote, Jerry has been married to his wife, Gene, for over 50 years. And along the way, the couple has endured a lot of challenges, one being his reported struggles with alcohol.
Opening night of NFL 2014 takes place on September 5 when the Seattle Seahawks (Super Bowl 48 champions) host the Green Bay Packers in Fail Mary 2. Perhaps, if Jerry Jones and the Navy, Silver and White can eek out a championship title, the racy pictures will be a fleeting thought?
