Liam Payne revealed who will support One Direction during a handful of shows on the North American leg of their Where We Are tour.
In case you haven't heard -- and we honestly can't imagine that you've somehow missed the news -- 5 Seconds of Summer are no longer opening for 1D during a few of the group's upcoming performances in the U.S. Instead of filling the void with their own unique brand of pop music, Payne revealed that they've tapped someone else to take over.
According to Sugarscape, Liam dropped this important information on his official Twitter page. Who is the lucky person who will take the stage before One Direction properly gets the party started? Payne explains everything in the following tweet.

Liam Payne also revealed that he's a bit messy.

If Jamie Scott's name sounds vaguely familiar, then it's probably because he helped One Direction pen their hit tune "Story of My Life." During a recent interview with the folks over at PopCrush, the songwriter discussed the impact that ditty had on his career.
"'Story of My Life' has kind of done a lot for me, because I suppose a song that crosses over, that's not an out-and-out pop song — people want those kind of songs, want songs that are going to be around in five or six, or maybe even 10 years' time. Since that came out, I've had to turn down other things that I would've naturally wanted to do if I wasn't doing my career as well. There have been some sessions I can't talk about, because there are some pretty big artists which haven't announced things yet, but there've been some things that I haven't been able to say no to."
Liam Payne and the rest of One Direction will begin their trek across North America on August 1 in Toronto. They'll wrap things up in Miami on October 5 before taking a well-deserved break. According to their official website, the fellas will hit the stage once again in Osaka, Japan on February 24, 2015. Catch them while you can, folks.
