Robin Thicke Tormented By Paula Patton Split: ‘How Am I Going To Move On’?

Robin Thicke was married to Paula Patton for more than two decades, but now he says he hasn’t seen her for over four months.

Thicke stopped by at New York’s Hot 97 radio station on Tuesday as part of the promotion forhis new album, aptly named, Paula. While discussing the album on-air he told the show’s morning program host:

“I try to keep most of that private, but, I haven’t seen her for four months. If you’ve been together that long, you kinda became adults together instead of being adults and then meeting. But maybe a year or two off, we’ll become our own people without each other and then it will be meant to be.”

As we all know, desperate men do desperate things when they are feeling lovesick, and Robin Thicke is no exception. At the beginning of the week, he took to Twitter in an effort to promote his new album, and get some therapy about Paula – or so he thought.

But that plan backfired as Thicke got severely trolled by people who are sick of his antics, and the whole thing turned into a massive bashing about his previous sins, vis-a-vis Patton. In speaking more about the album, it isn’t clear if he really misses his ex that much, or if he is just using it as a publicity stunt:

“The album is exactly what happens when you lose the love of your life and you’re trying to figure it out in your head. How am I going to move on and get through it all? We just weren’t happy together anymore and I still had so much I wanted to apologize for, and things I wanted to take responsibility for, so that’s pretty much what the album’s about.

My music is my therapy. When I make these songs and I listen back to them, they make me feel good about myself because at least I’m admitting my faults and trying to become a better man, better person, better father.”

So it seems that Robin Thicke may be a changed man after all, as he appears to speak his words with sincerity when it comes to Paula -his ex-wife, that is, not the album.
