Kim Kardashian Forever In Honeymoon Period, At Least So She Says

It seems that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have the rest of their lives to enjoy the “honeymoon period” together. In a recent interview with the Daily Mail, she opened up about just how much she loves her new husband:

I feel as though we’ll always be in the honeymoon period. We always say we really like to treat each other like it’s our birthday. I try to treat him like it’s his birthday every single day. I think we’ll always be like that.

Showing up to the Cannes Lions festival party in France, the newlywed was dressed in a floor-length custom Balmain gown made entirely from ropes. She seemed to don the newlywed glow, when she gushed about her marriage to Kanye West and also spilled the beans on how she keeps herself feeling her best:

“I get up and work out every morning. I know that I don’t feel as good as I could feel if I don’t – and you want to feel your best so you can give to everyone else. So I make sure I do take time for myself; I have lunches with my girlfriends.”

Kim has been identified in the past as a workaholic and it has been detrimental to her past relationships. However, if her desire to live in a perpetual honeymoon with Kanye West is any indication, perhaps her priorities have shifted a bit. Since becoming a first-time mom and wife, she shares the importance of focusing on what’s important:

“To prioritize is really important and you have to be an organized person to get it all done and make sure you have enough time for everyone – for my husband and my baby and for work. But it definitely puts things into perspective. You pick and choose the things that you really want to do or that you’re passionate about – it’s that simple; to prioritize.”

Kim credits Kanye for inspiring her to be more mindful of keeping the romance alive in their marriage. She tells MailOnline that Andrea Bocelli singing at her wedding is just one example of how romantic her husband is:

It was so Kanye to have him there. I should have expected that.
