The proposal one Reddit user pulled off at the Bonnaroo music festival could possibly put his friends proposals to shame.
Deciding six months prior to the festival that he wanted to propose to his girlfriend, John took to Reddit, asking for help from some of his fellow users.
He typed up a quick note with his girlfriends picture on it, instructing people to hand her the flower he provided when they saw her.
The sentiment that follows is some of the most genuine, heartfelt emotion of complete and utter love and joy as the proposal unfolds.
In addition to the video above, below are some of the photos of the event that John posted to Imgur along with his captions.
With the group that I met here, we started to hand out a flower and this flyer.
(The flyer reads: If you see this girl please give her a flower, sing along or just walk with the group! I am about to propose and it would be amazing if you could be part of it!)
This beautiful man followed them playing "Dead Sea" by The Lumineers.
People start handing her flowers.
I get down on one knee.
The flowers keep coming and she still doesn't see me. I'm shaking like crazy.
Tears on both sides.
She said yes!
Tears and hugs from good friends.
Thank you to everyone who helped out. We will never forget you.
