Jennifer Lawrence Doesn’t Care About Fame, But She Loves Helping Her Family

Jennifer Lawrence doesn’t spend a lot of time worrying about achieving astronomical levels of fame. However, she doesn’t mind using her fortune to help out her family.

It’s no secret that Lawrence has made a considerable amount of money from her cinematic endeavors over the past few years. In fact, the actress was officially declared the most bankable actor in Hollywood for 2013. Since she has both X-Men: Days of Future Past and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 headed to theaters this year, she may end up claiming that title once again.

The 23-year-old American Hustle star told Psychologies magazine that she doesn’t worry about spending time in the spotlight. All that really matters to Jennifer Lawrence at the end of the day is using her success to take care of her family.

“My family always taught me to have good sense when it comes to money, so just because I have some money now doesn’t mean that I have to go and spend it! I’m at my happiest doing simple things and hanging out with my friends and my family,” Lawrence recently explained.

The actress added, “Fame doesn’t mean much to me, but I do love being in a position where I can help my family. That’s been a real blessing — it’s a wonderful feeling to know that after everything my parents sacrificed to get me to this place, I can now give them so peace of mind and take care of whatever they need.”

It’s obvious that Jennifer Lawrence doesn’t spend a lot of time worrying about the sort of stuff that occupies the minds most celebrities. When it comes to stuff like awards shows, the Hunger Games star is apparently more concerned about food and having fun than anything else.

According to Us Weekly, Lawrence had a bit too much fun at the 2014 Academy Awards. In fact, Jennifer was so sloshed at the event that she could barely keep the contents of her stomach from spilling all over Madonna’s post-Oscars party.

“Jen said she was so drunk, she puked on the stairs at Madonna’s after-party, and Miley walked by and said something like, ‘Get it together, girl!'” someone who attended the taping of The Late Show with Seth Meyers told the publication.

Jennifer Lawrence fans who want to help the actress take care of her family should consider purchasing a ticket to X-Men: Days of Future Past when it opens on May 23.
