Since it worked so well back in 2003 with Jessica Simpson , why shouldn’t Nick Lachey open up his marriage to the camera’s once again, other than perhaps that whole divorce issue that happened after the show stopped airing in 2005. It’s being reported that Lachey and new wife Vanessa Minnillo who are engaged will star in a new reality TV special on TLC that will focus on their new marriage.
Unlike Newlyweds which aired on MTV the new show will be a “one-off special” which Lachey says told Us Weekly will be
“A chance to kind of have a great experience and a great moment in our lives documented on TV, and also for us, to have a great wedding video at the end of it.”
If Lachey’s wedding ends in a quick divorce I call dibs on saying “I told you so.”
Also, I only believe the show will work if Minnillo portrays herself to be as air headed as Jessica Simpson, which I don’t think is humanely possible to duplicate a second time around.
