Pregnant Christina Aguilera Stuns New Orleans Crowd At Festival

A very pregnant Christina Aguilera stuns crowd with performance at New Orleans Jazz Festival

After announcing that she will not be joining the hit TV shot The Voice on season 7, and extending her blessing to Gwen Stefani who will sit in for her, a pregnant Christina Aguilera stunned the crowd at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage festival.

The playlist for her performance included some major fan favorites such as Lady Marmalade, What a Girl Wants, Ain’t No Other Man, and Dirrty. Rounding out her set, Aguilera left the crowd with her girl power anthem Fighter. Aguilera, who is due later this year, was outfitted in a little black dress, white asymmetrical cardigan, black fishnet stockings, and a black fedora as she performed her hits. She even treated the crowd to a cover of Etta James’ popular song At Last.

Christina is no stranger to showing off her bod and it seems that she hasn’t let being pregnant slow her down in the least. Her skintight number hugged her pregnant curves as she shimmied and danced around the stage.

‘This baby girl has already hit the stage in Malaysia,” she said in an email statement prior to her performance. ‘It’s mama’s job. We roll with it. She’ll be listening to the concert from inside me…. That’s pretty special.’

Allowing for a few minor wardrobe changes during her set, Aguilera was gracious and interacted with her audience. She spoke about why she was inspired to write or perform a specific song and thanked the audience repeatedly. ‘I love looking out at a crowd and seeing happy faces, smiling faces, drinking faces, smoking faces,’ she said in response to her warm reception, ‘It’s a good feeling to be a part of it.

Spectators and festival organizers alike where singing the praises of the very pregnant Christina Aguilera. One audience member and fan gushed, ‘She has such a strong voice,’ while the festival organizer Quint Davis called her ‘one of the great vocalists of our era.’

Other performers at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage festival included Chaka Khan, the rock group Alabama Shakes and Louisiana-based acts including the Charmaine Neville Band, Amanda Shaw and the Hot 8 Brass Band.

Aguilera is expecting a baby girl with her fiance film producer Matthew Rutler, with her due date still unannounced. The two met on the set of the 2010 film Burlesque and confirmed their romance shortly after. On the heels of their engagement announcement, the couple also announced that they were expecting a child. This will be Aguilera’s second child and will be Rutler’s first.
