Heather Locklear, Richie Sambora Spotted Together In Hawaii — What’s Up Here?
Heather Locklear, the star of the soapy 1990s Fox TV drama Melrose Place, was spotted vacationing in Hawaii with Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora — the husband she divorced in 2007. The sighting of the seemingly relaxed and happy pair left fans wondering, what’s up with that?
Heather Locklear was seen decked out in white sundress looking ageless and certainly not her 52 years. The 54-year-old Sambora on the other hand was dressed like an aging rock star on a beach, in shorts, shades, a U.S. Marine Corps cap, and a sleeveless button-down shirt open to the torso with beads hanging in his hairless chest.
Dynasty star Locklear had a thing for rock stars in the 1990s. Before marrying Sambora in 1994, she was hitched for seven years to wildman Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee. Then after Sambora split from Heather Locklear, he took up with her pal, actress Denise Richards, who is now best-known as the ex-wife of Charlie Sheen.
Heather Locklear had a daughter with Richie Sambora, Ava, who is now 16 years old and an aspiring runway model.
So what was going on with the not-so-estranged couple in Kona, Hawaii?
The sighting took place March 30. But apparently they had been there for a while. On March 27 Sambora posted a tweet from Hawaii, saying “another beautiful morning in paradise. life is good. peace.”

In an interview back in 2012, Sambora discussed his relationship with Heather Locklear, and where it stood at the time, five years after their split.
“We’re very good. It’s actually even beyond for Ava’s sake,” he said then. “Heather and I really respect each other and we’ve become better friends, I think, now that we’re not married.”
The daughter of Richie Sambora and Heather Locklear is also an aspiring actress. She had a part in the Judd Apatow comedy, This Is 40.
The most recent sighting of Richie Sambora an Heather Locklear together came at Ava’s 16th birthday party at the Four Seasons Hotel in Los Angeles.
