Tone Loc Arrested For Felony Domestic Violence, Has Not Yet Posted Bail

80’s and 90’s party rapper Tone Loc has been arrested on charges he engaged in a “physical altercation” with the mother of his child yesterday in Burbank, California.

Tone Loc- real name Anthony Smith- was a staple of the party rap scene two decades ago, with his hits “Funky Cold Medina” and “Wild Thing.” He may not have retained that dough, though- his $50,000 bail remains unposted. TMZ reported on the specifics of the arrest:

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ … Loc (real name Anthony Smith) was arrested yesterday around 2:45 PM at an apartment complex in Burbank, CA. We’re told he was taken in without incident and booked into jail a few hours later.

It was not reported whether the rapper hired or has been appointed a lawyer. Late last year, Tone Loc was arrested for DUI, but told cops he did not drink and was having a seizure behind the wheel .
