Tia And Tamera Mowry Leaving Reality Show

Tia and Tamera Mowry have confirmed that they are ending their family reality show after three seasons.

The former Sister, Sister stars launched Tia & Tamera on Style Network in 2011. The third season concluded on September 22, 2013 and was the last program aired on the network, which re-branded as Esquire Network the next day. Tia & Tamera began airing on E! on October 15, along with former Style Network series Giuliana & Bill.

Tamera Mowry-Housley confirmed on Twitter that Tia & Tamera would not be getting a fourth season so that the sisters could focus on their “family lives behind the cameras.” Mowry-Housley also hinted that she had “some great things” in the works that she couldn’t wait to share with fans.

“Wanted to say Thank You for all the love and support. But most of all welcoming me, my husband, n my son into your homes for 3 seasons,” Mowry-Housley wrote.

“We are truly blessed:) More than anything I wanted you all to see who I was TRULY as a person and the show Tia and Tamera has done that.”

Tia Mowry-Hardrict’s comedy Instant Mom was ordered to series by Nickelodeon in June. Despite previously being announced that the series would air first on NickMom, Instant Mom has since been shifted to air on Nick at Nite first with repeats airing on NickMom later the same night. Mowry-Hardrict stars as Stephanie Philips, a 25-year-old food blogger and party girl who marries an older man, Charlie (Michael Boatman). Charlie is father to Gabrielle (Sydney Park), a high school freshman, and younger sons James (Tylen Jacob Williams) and Aaron (Damarr Calhoun).

Tamera Mowry-Housley began hosting The Real with Tamar Braxton, Jeannie Mai, Adrienne Bailon and Loni Love on July 15, 2013. The talk show ended its four-week summer run on August 9, and was green-lit for a national syndicated September 2014 launch on October 31.
