Lindsay Lohan Fur Hag: PETA Flour attack

StumbleUpon Digg Reddit Mixx del.icio.us MySpace Fark Facebook TwitThis Propeller Wikio Yahoo! Buzz

Poor Li Lo cant take a trick. PETA activists were on hand last night club where, lover Samantha Ronson was supposed to be spinning a few tracks and flour bombed her. The French aminmal activist shouted “Fur Hag” at Lindsay Lohan before launching the flour bomb.

This is how PETA gloated about it on their blog.

Lindsay Lohan’s tan turned noticeably paler tonight after an anti-fur activist showered her with flour at a nightclub in Paris. Lindsay was on her way into the VIP room on the Champs-Elysées just after 1 a.m. early Saturday when she had an entire bag of flour dumped over her head.

When Lindsay was named to PETA’s annual Worst-Dressed List earlier this year, her entry read: “I Know Who Killed Me isn’t just the title of Lindsay Lohan’s latest bomb, it’s the cry of the animals snuffed out so that this ‘mean girl’ can pose in their pelts. Lindsay, there’s no road to recovery for the foxes who are anally electrocuted so that you can look skanky.”

Will she get the message? PETA hopes so, PETA Europe spokesperson Robbie LeBlanc said

“There is nothing remotely ‘fashionable’ about the torture and death of animals killed for fur. Lindsay Lohan might be able to ignore images of bloody animals skinned alive for their pelts, but we hope a dash of flour will help her rise to the occasion and forsake fur once and for all.”

Lindsay just can’t seem to make up her mind. Its a bit of a theme, because back in 2006 when PETA were finalising their worst drssed list for the year she told PETA she was “trying to weed the real fur from [her] wardrobe.” But then that was so 2006 and back when she liked boys.

all Lindsay gets is a little flour on her for wearing fur?boo F*&%ing hoo
that was a nice way to try and get across a very important fact
fur is DEAD.Lindsay gets a little flour that -gasp!- could get on her party dress but the animals she is wearing were tortured and murdered.Personally I would have
thrown poo on her because that is what she is acting like -a little s**t she is old enough to know better , she doesn't live in a remote 3rd world country or an igloo, everyone knows where fur comes from and how it is gotten and it doesn't take a brain surgeon to know this and on top of it she is not a baby she is an adult and has grown up in the modern world -she knows what the animals have been through and she is choosing to wear their skinned fur, their bloody aftermath of a stolen life and try and pass it off as high fashion-while really all she is saying is that she is a selfish gluttonous vacant cold hearted sorry excuse for a human.yes she is indeed human but sorely lacking humanity.

Eventhough I do not agree with PETA methods , it is a known fact that animals who are killed for their fur suffer tremedously for nothing; nowadays there is no excuse for wearing fur, with so many good alternatives. If she has any character at all, she would stop wearing fur and try to help those poor animals in fur farms all over the world.

PETA can burn in hell & so can all the halfwits who support the fact that a woman was just assaulted by self-righteous halfwits who care more about the "suffering" of a few soulless creatures than the well-being of their fellow human beings. 30,000 children die daily from poverty related causes & dickhead terrorist groups like PETA & their equally dickheaded supporters care more about what part of an animal someone wears than whether or not children get to go to bed at night with food in their stomachs or even basic medical care. Maybe governments should also start doing something about an organisation that openly supports terrorism in the name of "animal rights" (proof of PETA's support of Rodney Coronado, a convicted "animal rights" terrorist "http://www.targetofopportunity.com/peta_tax.htm"). I for one have had enough of idiots who think PETA have anything valid to say & give money, time & attention to such a group while people continue to suffer & die because those morons care more about the hair of a few rodents than the well-being of living, breathing human beings.

    @ CrouchingWeasel:

    Your comment really sucks.
You are verbally abusive and I think the only one without a soul here is you.

Your a fucking idiot. Of course they care about humans but they believe animals should receive the same respect a human gets. Sure, poverty is bad maybe worse than what's happening to the animals but that doesn't mean we should ditch the animals and not stand up for them. How would you like to be skinned alive and used as a coat that'll be worn once, maybe twice? How would you like to be tortured day in day out just to perform a few measly tricks? How would you like to be kept in a cage for your whole life knowing nothing but pain? And, yeah we should be doing something about helping the children and poverty stricken countries because it is a major problem in the world, but animals need just as much help because of the people like you who dont give a shit about their welfare.
It makes me so angry that people like you don't care about what happens to animals and think that just because your human your superior to them and supprt their torture and suffering and wear what remains of an animal that has been killed, no not killed, murdered just to make you look good. Your delousional because it doesn't look good at all, it makes you look like an selfish prick! And Lindsey got what was expected. Do you think we are just gonna stand around and say 'fair enough, wear the fur coat if you wanna, the animal was hurt for this but who gives a bugger'? Of course not. Would you act the same way with poverty? Of course not. Your standing up for it and your right to do so, but it's not right to bring us down for what we believe and are standing up for. And she got of lightly with a bag of flour. Think of what the animals go through everyday. She should be treated the way they do and maybe she would think twice before she supports animal cruelty. And don't say 'she doesn't support it, she just wears fur clothes', beacuse that is supporting it. It is exaclty the same as the japanese saying 'I don't support whaling, I just kill them for 'scientific research'' or someone saying 'I don't support animal cruelty, i just lock my pets in cages and dont give them food and fresh water to drink'. It's absurd! And you all need to wake up to yourself. And I hope the Lindsey Lohan incident has woken you up and made you realise that animal cruelty is not on!

Lohan should sue Peta for under civil tort law for battery. She would pave the way in the legal field for all of us who wear furs (usually bought at vintage places for cheap because people are scared to go out of the house wearing them with Peta around). We could all sue Peta and win.

This is so lame. You are actually feeling sorry for those poor people who bought an expensive fur coat, but because of all the bad people at PETA that are around (talking about paranoid) they have no other option than donating their fur coats to a vintage shop. Where sad people like you can buy them cheaply and flaunt around in it, when you wearing the skin of animals that suffered tremendously , for your fashion statement!
Hey, but what does it matter? As long as you look good, right?
And you are also soooooo brave, talking about civil suits against animal activists like PETA and talk about paving the way. I was wrong: It's people like you who will eventually change the way we look at things and make this world a better place.

There is civil case law already established for the action that PETA took. Any item that a person wears or holds in his or her hand is considered an extension of that person's body. Thus, when another person makes a harmful or offensive touching (like snatching a plate away from a person's hand) or throwing an item onto that person (like PETA's flour), that is considered a intentional harmful or offensive touching in personal injury law (battery). PETA violated Lohan's personal bodily space, and committed a battery.

As for wearing fur coats donated to vintage stores, people have the legal right to buy and wear the clothes they want. There is no language in the U.S. Constitution that states otherwise.

I am not a PETA member or supporter, neither do I support agressiveness towards others. I feel that is it unnecessary these days to wear fur, with so many good alternatives and the information that is available. It is morally not right to wear a coat that was made with so much crualty and suffering. How can you promote this right?
I could not do what you do, to hide behind the US Constitution so you can buy and wear what you want and therefore making an excuse not to educate yourself and make a positive choice.
I don't think PETA actions like these will change a lot, but at least they stir things up, and get the discussion going and maybe a few people will want to understand what all the commotion is about and make a change. People tend to forget very easily when it comes to things they really do not want to know about, like crualty to animals or where the steak on their plate came from.
Have you ever seen images of a fur farm? If you are so keen on wearing a fur coat, no matter where you got it, then I guess you sure wouldn't mind to take a look where it came from either. If after that you are still determined to wear your fur coat, just because of the US Constitution permits you, then I give up. I must conclude that you do not want to be bothered by silly things as animal crualty and just think about yourself and your own constitutional right to buy and wear what ever you want. What about the rights of other living beings, or do you only see the purpose they serve? I do hope that you will at least try to understand and make a change, not because PETA demands it from you, this will never work, but for yourself.

You can complain and give your opinion indefinitely. But what you say will still not change the fact that the law governs our actions and sets the boundaries for what people can and cannot do. Until PETA can maneuver its way up to the U.S. Supreme Court to change the law in order to dictate what people can and cannot wear, we U.S. citizens are permitted to wear the clothes they want. Until PETA intrudes into our lives to do so, I will continue to wear my fur coat which I bought at a vintage store. And if a PETA activist ever approached me while wearing it to commit a battery upon my body, I will take PETA to court.

poor Lindsay. that's so rude. that's shouldn't be the way these "fur activists" handle things.
no way will they get what they're fighting for by being so disrespectful and rude to their FELLOWMEN. tsktsktsk.

PETA are a bunch of idiots: they think they are so morally superior than everybody else, but this is the proof that they are just a bunch of morons that think that animal's lives are worth more than human needs. Really, they are so ignorant that we can only assume that their supporters are teenagers or adults that never grow up! Fur is a beautiful natural product that is warmer than any other man-made material. Animals are not killed while still conscious, but they will make you beleive that because they need you money for their propaganda! So, I want to know, why doesn't PETS attaack leather wearers if they want to save animals??? Leather worn by the majority of intelligent people who don't want to wear man-made materials! Learn the facts bunch of ignorants!

Animals lives are worth more then human needs? OK, I know it really feels like you need a fur coat, but you don't, you don't really need one. Assumption is ignorance, but what ever you say. Fur is beautiful, on the animals that grow them and they are not warmer then any other man made material, there have been some amazing advancements in nanotechnology which is producing light weight warm fabrics and making them much more affordable then fur and WARMER then fur. Animals are killed while still conscious, there are plenty of fur producing practices and individuals that are not interested with the humane treatment of these animals as much as they care about the fur that they strip from them and these people still catch, keep and kill animals in inhuman ways. I mean seriously think about what you are saying, it is ridiculous to think that you can speak for the entirety of the fur industry and say that animals are not being killed while conscious, it's just not a true statement , there are still plenty of inhumane practices out there, this is a huge industry that stretches across the world, here there and every where, not just one company where furs are made in the US. Your argument is also flawed in assuming that the suffering upon the animal is limited to death, but it is not limited to death of the animal, the conditions in which they are kept until death 'cause suffering as well. While the wearing of leather is not encouraged by every PETA supporter, I consider it a little better then fur wearing because at least the leather I occasionally wear is limited to leather that come from cows that are already being killed for the meat and not causing countless species of animals to become instinct and endangered which disrupts entire ecosystems. I try to personally off set the impact that cow farming has on the environment by not eating red meat, and in other personal life style choices I have made. Which in my book is much better then just not giving a fuck at all or being a total hypocrite in saying that fur is warmer then any man-made material, which is not true (I am sure you thought it sounded good), or in saying that animals are not conscious when they die, which is also not a fact or true and is a completely ignorant thing to say. So, call me a hypocrite because I wear leather and not fur, it's a personal choice, but I made an educated choice and I support PETA and I know my facts, unlike you. Maybe PETA will see fit to convince me to give up leather, I welcome them to it.

Just reading the last sentence gives me a good insight of Peta's supporter's way of thinking: "I will do whatever Peta says!!!"
So sad when a generation looses the ability to think by themselves!
    Welcome to the Peta-generation!
And the scariest part is that their proud to have a hater group thinking for them!
