Christian Bale and Christopher Nolan may join forces once again for the upcoming Justice League movie.
The folks at Warner Bros. are waiting to see what happens with Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel before giving the project the proverbial green light. However, recent reports indicate that things are starting to take shape behind the scenes.
According to Worst Previews, Christian Bale and Christopher Nolan are in talks with the studio to help out with the Justice League of America movie.
The Dark Knight Rises director has reportedly been tapped to produce superhero movies going forward at Warner Bros. Nolan co-produced Man of Steel alongside Zack Snyder.
Recent reports also suggest that Snyder has been approached to direct the Justice League movie. However, all of this could change should Man of Steel fail to make a decent chunk of cash at the box office this summer.
Latino Review reports that the studio is currently in talks to bring Christian Bale back as the Caped Crusader for the Justice League flick. Should the actor decide the project is worth his time, he will co-star in the film alongside Henry Cavill.
The website also explains that screenwriter David Goyer could sign on for the project as well. The prolific writer provided the story for The Dark Knight Rises and the upcoming Godzilla reboot. Goyer is also credited with developing the story and writing the script for Snyder’s Man of Steel.
According to CraveOnline, Christian Bale isn’t entirely opposed to reprising his role as Batman in another motion picture. The actor said his participation in future projects would be hinged on Christopher Nolan.
“If Chris came to me with a script and said, ‘You know what? There is another story’ then I would love the challenge of making a fourth one work.”
Although reports about the Justice League movie are currently making the rounds, nothing about the project has been confirmed by Warner Bros. as of this writing.
