This Toddler Is Better At Basketball Than You Will Ever Be [Video]

Meet Titus, a talented toddler who has a better shot percentage than most NBA players.

When the video starts, a woman asks, “Titus, can you make a basket?” And make a basket he does.

Not only does Titus — who was about 18 months old at the time the video was made — sink five shots while lying on his back underneath the hoop, but he also hit shots on a 7-foot rim. Not bad for someone who’s only about two feet tall.

Titus also, miraculously, sank a shot while his siblings tried to distract him and while other balls were being thrown around the hoop. He also nails baskets when the hoop is turned the wrong way. He’s that good.

The video of Titus, posted by user Joseph Ashby, has received over 177,000 views since it was uploaded on February 3. The description of the video reads, “He began shooting baskets shortly after learning to walk, we started filming some, and then got totally carried away.”

Not everyone believes that the video is as authentic as it has been made out to be. One Deadspin commenter wrote, “Did you see how they edited the “streak” footage? I can’t believe the media is falling for THIS after Lannay [sic] Kekua.” Another commenter wrote, “Anyone else get the feeling that this video was fake, used as an attempt to go viral and further the dad’s blossoming arrhythmic avant garde acoustic guitar-strumming career?”

Real or not, watching Titus hit those trick shots is sure to bring a smile to your face. Watch the video for yourself and judge whether it’s authentic or fake.
