Sammy Sosa’s previously dark skin is now Michael Jackson-pale, and fans want to know exactly how one of their favorite players of all time has drastically changed so much over the past few years.

Sosa hasn’t commented on his new, lighter complexion, but the internet is speculating that Vitiligo or fashion bleaching may be at least partly a cause. The addition of cat-like green contact lenses seems to suggest the latter may be more likely than the former.
