Denise Richards To Babysit Brooke Mueller’s Kids During Rehab
Charlie Sheen’s former wife, Brooke Mueller, will be leaving her kids with another one of Sheen’s ex-wives, Denise Richards, for an “indefinite amount of time” while she completes rehab.
Mueller checked herself into rehab today to deal with her addiction to Adderall. Mueller said that she is going to leave her kids, 3-year-old twins Bob and Max, with Richards as she gets help.
This may sound like a strange arrangement but TMZ reports that Mueller has received parenting help from Richards in the past. The last time Brooke went to rehab (she’s been in rehab 19 times) she left her kids with Richards.
A source told E! Online:
“This isn’t the first time the boys have stayed with Denise for a length of time … Denise would do anything for those kids.”
Denise Richards will probably do a great job taking care of Bob and Max while Mueller gets help, but where is Charlie Sheen? According to TMZ, the actor is too busy shooting Anger Management to help out with the kids.
That may sound a little cold-hearted but Sheen has shown in the last couple days that he can be quite generous … at least with his money. The actor recently cut a big check to help Lindsay Lohan with her tax problem and also cut a check to a little girl battling cancer.

Say what you will about Denise Richards but she has a big heart and I respect her for helping out with the kids involved in this story. Not many women would help out her exes second wives they way she is doing. I have a new found respect for her.

Yeah… Rehab 19 times and she still has custody of her kids is what I question. Good for Denise to make sure those kiddos have family who cares…

I've grown to respect Deneise Richards over the past couple of years. Not for her acting or her beauty, but rather for her honor and the ability to be stronger than those around her while attempting to do the right thing….Even she didn't fall in the wake of Charlie as so many others have…The man does in fact leave tracks, wherever he has been…

Denise Richards is such a beautiful sweet angel. I was really hoping that Charlie would clean up his act and get his shit together and one day get back with her. They made such a good couple when they were happy.

I think it makes a lot of sense. The kids with be with their half-siblings and they know Denise and are comfortable with her.

Charlie screwed up BIG TIME, when he let her go! She has obviously been the best thing that has ever happened to him and he let her go. Denise is just plain classy and one of the good guys! my hats off to her! Very few women would do what she is doing and has done. Let's hope that Brooke realizes the good friend she has in Denise and appreciates her and show respect and gratitude. Here's hoping she will get better and stay better so she won't miss out anymore on raising her boys.
