Update: It has now been reported that Rachel Lindsay is engaged! She found love with one of her suitors on the show, according to Reality Steve’s latest update on her season.
After taking a 10-week sabbatical from social media (to film her season of The Bachelorette), Rachel Lindsay returned to Instagram with a couple of new pictures — none of which show her wearing an engagement ring (bummer). Of course, this doesn’t mean that the newest Bachelorette isn’t engaged, it just means that if she has a ring, she’s being very careful as to comply with the rules of the show.
“Guess who’s back!!!! And I’m back just in time to announce that The Bachelorette starts in exactly ONE WEEK!!!! Please watch every Monday night as I start my journey to find love, commitment, respect, trust, and a best friend,” Lindsay captioned a photo posted on Monday night. Although you can’t quite see her left hand in the photo, the huge smile on her face suggests that she’s a very happy lady!
Spoilers have yet to reveal the man who wins Rachel Lindsay’s heart at the end of her journey to find love, but Reality Steve has shared news about her final three guys, at least one of whom is expected to propose.
In another picture posted by Lindsay earlier today, her hands are clearly visible. However, she was at the gym getting ready to work out and was unsurprisingly sporting a Neil Lane diamond on that finger.
“Back at it with an early morning workout with my longtime friend and favorite personal trainer, Chase [Weber],” Lindsay captioned the pic. She sounds really excited to get back into her routine after spending the past two-plus months traveling the world looking for love. Lindsay isn’t giving fans too much to work with, but just about everyone is excited to see her back on social media.
Lindsay started off her season of The Bachelorette in a rather untraditional manner. She started meeting guys while she was on After The Final Rose. She was sitting down with host Chris Harrison when she found out that she’d be meeting her first four guys right then and there. It may have been a bit awkward, but Rachel Lindsay handled it like a champ. She was a little nervous but overall very elegant. Fans loved the sort of sneak peek they were offered and simply cannot wait until they get to watch Lindsay (hopefully) fall in love.
Bachelor/ette producers have pretty strict rules for people on the show once they film. For example, Lindsay will be forced to keep the outcome of the show completely private until the finale. Over the past several years, the show has been spoiled by various outlets (namely Reality Steve) and some cast members have “accidentally” given things away — like that time Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe and her season-pick Shawn Booth outed themselves on Snapchat.
If Lindsay plays by all of the rules, she won’t give any hints about the man who ends up winning her heart. That means, no matter how hard you look, that engagement ring (assuming she received one) won’t be making an appearance on Instagram anytime (or anywhere else) soon.
Lindsay made it to the final four on Nick Viall’s season of The Bachelor, but was sent home after the overnight dates. Shortly after her exit, ABC announced that she should be taking the helm and handing out roses in the spring. Alas, the time has finally come (well, almost).
The Bachelorette premieres on Monday, May 22, at 8 p.m. EST on ABC. Will you be tuning in to watch Rachel Lindsay on her journey to find love?
