Now that Pippa Middleton has secured her wedding date with her fiance, the details of the grand affair is rising to the surface. In fact, Pippa and James’ wedding will not be as grand as people think it will be. It will be such a low-key affair that there is a big chance that her sister Kate Middleton will not take part in the wedding.
On the other hand, it was brought to attention that James’ reality TV star brother, Spencer Matthews of Made in Chelsea, may still be the best man. Go figure.
Either way, the wedding is set out to be an intimate, but beautiful affair, with a small family church chosen as the place of the ceremony and her family house to be the place where the party will happen.
“Although she’s chosen to get married in a “low key” way at her family’s hometown village church, with no more than 150 guests and a ‘no frills’ party at her parents’ house after the ceremony, the wedding of Pippa Middleton, younger sister of the ultra-famous Duchess of Cambridge, is already lauded as the society wedding of the year,” reports Forbes.
“The ceremony will take place in the small church of St. Mark’s of Englefield in Berkshire,” the report continued.
“The church website says it consists of a tower and a spire, nave, south aisle, chancel and north aisle, and was extensively restored by Sir George Gilbert Scott in 1857.”

The more interesting details are the reception will happen at Pippa Middleton’s parents’ house, which is “a sprawling Georgian-style mansion in nearby Bucklebury, large enough to receive the guests and small enough to ensure total privacy and security.”
The most shocking thing from Forbes reports is that there is a good chance that “James’s little brother, Spencer Matthews – a star in the reality TV series Made in Chelsea – will be his best man.”
Considering how Spencer does have a knack for drawing attention, maybe the wedding will draw a classy amount of hype, just enough not to disturb the intimate atmosphere.
With the wedding date drawing near, Pippa’s younger brother James Middleton has also spoken out about his life in a rare interview. He made sure to emphasize that he is “proud” of his family and just how much importance they have in British media.
“It’s always been, whether at school or now, that I am Pippa and Catherine’s little brother. It’s probably going to be the story of my life,” he said.
“[But] I am James Middleton. I am very proud to be ‘the little brother of…’ but, equally, they are proud that I am who I am.”
He also commented about his life with his long-term girlfriend Donna Air.
“We are thinking about where we are going next,” James admitted.
“I love Donna very much and Freya is very much part of Donna, and I love them both equally. It’s not ‘Donna’ and ‘Oh, she has a child.’ That’s not how I’ve ever seen it… Marriage is absolutely not something I’m scared of [but it] isn’t necessarily the be all and end all.”
With Kate and James settling into a loving relationship, it looks like Pippa is ready to do the same. The last time she was seen with her fiance, she looked the picture of love. On the walk out with James, she even brought their dogs out, showing that she is craving for something more domestic and quiet as she enters her mid-thirties.

One of her friends admitted to People Magazine that Pippa is excited to get the wedding plans confirmed.
“Of course she is super excited and already planning everything,” the friend said to the magazine. “[H]e’s charming and old-fashioned. Everyone thinks he’s quite the catch.”
Let’s hope that her friend wasn’t alluding to the fact that she was lucky to have him.
