Mariah Carey And James Packer Engagement Over: Singer Already Seen Out With Another Man After Split Turns Ugly

Mariah Carey and James Packer ended their engagement last month, and now there are many theories about why the famous couple split. As their break up gets uglier by the second, it looks like Mariah isn’t worried. The diva singer has already been spotted out on what looks like a date with her backup dancer Bryan Tanaka.

According to TMZ, Bryan Tanaka is the same dancer James Packer was jealous of when he was still an item with Mariah Carey. They claim that Packer got so upset by Bryan and Mariah’s flirting that he confronted the dancer and choreographer back in June, getting him banned from Caesar’s Palace and effectively banned from performing with Mariah because she does many shows there.

Now that Mariah and James’ engagement has ended, it looks like the billionaire businessman may have had plenty to worry about. Several months after the explosive confrontation, Mariah is spending her free time chowing down with the banned dancer. They were spotted eating sushi together at Nobu in Malibu on Thursday night.

Mariah Carey and James Packer ended their engagement last month while vacationing in Greece. Mariah hasn’t given all the details, but she has hinted that James did “something terrible” to her assistant.

Since news of the split, there have been many rumors as to what else may have caused the bad break up. As the split between Mariah and James gets uglier, rumors of mental instability, horrible spending habits, and infidelity have started to swirl.

People reported that a source close to Mariah Carey said that James Packer was mentally unstable. They claim that Packer is not “mentally healthy place and has not been present for Mariah or her family.”

The same report included a statement from Mariah’s rep that shoots down cheating and spending claims.

“Mariah and James had a fight in Greece, and have not seen each other since. The fight was not because of any cheating allegations or excessive spending by Mariah.”

James Packer’s rep responded to allegations that the billionaire has mental health problems and denied that was the problem. He said it was “typical Mariah to just twist things that don’t sound good to her. They split because she has issues. James is definitely an oddball, but a brilliant great guy. To put her issues on James is ridiculous.”

In addition to rumors that James Packer was unhappy with Mariah’s flirtatious relationship with Bryan Tanaka, her excessive spending habits and his mental instability, there was also the issue of Mariah’s upcoming reality series. Apparently, James was not interested in putting all the details of his life on display for the world. As a matter of fact, the reality series is going to be called Mariah’s World and will open up her life to the cameras and let fans see what it’s like to be Mariah Carey. The E! series is set to premiere in December.

Previously, Mariah Carey’s rep said that she and James Packer were “trying to work things out,” but that must have been prior to Mariah heading out for dinner with her backup dancer. Just one day after the world learned that Mariah and James had broken up, James Packer’s rep made it clear that the two wouldn’t be reconciling.

In the wake of her split with James Packer, Mariah Carey is reportedly keeping her 35-carat engagement ring. She is still wearing the ring, according to the Daily Mail. So far, it is unknown if James will want the $10 million ring back or if he’ll just let Carey keep it.
