Brad Pitt Moving Out Already? Plus, Former Co-star Claims He Has ‘Lived On Whiskey’ For Years

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have officially reached the point of no return.

Following the divorce announcement earlier this week, moving trucks were spotted outside of the couple’s home in Los Feliz. Did Pitt already pack up and leave the family?

Hollywood Life is reporting that the World War Z star was probably not the one moving out. Pitt has owned the 80,000-square-foot estate since 1994 and has steadily purchased adjoining homes to create the huge compound. The actor retained ownership of the property after his divorce with Jennifer Aniston and uses it as a home office for Plan B production.

It’s unknown if Jolie was moving her personal items out of the home, but it’s clear that they are going through with the divorce with little hope of reconciling. In fact, Radar Online reports that the divorce may have been years in the making.

Was Pitt’s addiction to alcohol at the center of their marriage collapse? Pitt and Jolie’s By the Sea co-star Richard Bohringer revealed that Pitt has a serious drinking habit.

“They are curious, these American stars,” Bohringer stated. “Brad Pitt, he lives on whiskey. She is a funny girl. They’re a funny couple.”

Jolie officially filed for divorce this past Monday and noted September 15 as their date of separation. However, Bohringer admitted that the couple had issues in their marriage back in 2014.

Apparently, Pitt’s actions even caused trouble on the set of By the Sea.

“They would see how he was a mess,” an insider shared about Jolie and their six kids – Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox, and Vivienne.

According to People, the L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services has placed Pitt under investigation after reports of child abuse. An anonymous tipster called the DCFS and claims that Pitt was verbally abusive with one of the kids and was starting to get physical. The incident allegedly happened last week on the tarmac.

It isn’t clear which children were present during Brad Pitt’s outburst, though Jolie is believed to have been on hand.

“The DCFS investigation is absolutely ongoing,” an inside source revealed. “Brad has been interviewed and is cooperating fully. The case remains open.”

Pitt was reportedly intoxicated at the time of the incident.

Despite the investigation, USA Today is reporting that the Los Angeles Police Department has not opened up an official case against Pitt.

“LAPD is not handling any report or allegations into child abuse against Brad Pitt,” Jenny Houser, a spokeswoman for the department, stated.

So far, Pitt has denied the reports of child abuse.

“He takes the matter very seriously and says he did not commit any abuse of his children,” an insider shared. “It’s unfortunate that people are continuing to present him in the worst possible light.”

Jolie is not seeking monetary support from Pitt, but she did request physical custody of all six of their children.

While rumors continued to surface about the cause of their breakup, Pitt released an official statement shortly after the divorce news broke.

“I am very saddened by this, but what matters most now is the well-being of our kids,” he explained. “I kindly as the press to give them the space they deserve during this challenging time.”

Jolie also released a statement via her lawyer, which read, “This decision was made for the health of the family.”

They were together for a number of years before deciding to exchange vows in 2014. The split happened shortly after the couple celebrated their two-year anniversary.
