Eric Church Tour: Country Music Singer Announces 2017 ‘Holdin’ My Own’ Tour, Find Out How To Buy Your Eric Church Tickets
Country music singer Eric Church has announced his 2017 “Holdin’ My Own Tour,” which is set to kick off on January 13 in Lincoln, Nebraska, at the Pinnacle Bank Arena.
According to CMT, Eric Church made the tour announcement at one of his sold-out shows at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, Colorado, on Tuesday, August 9. Since Church launched his singing career, he has done numerous tours, but this one will be a bit different. As the name “Holdin’ My Own” suggests, Eric Church will not have an opening act. Rather, he will perform two full sets with an intermission in between.
“It’s just us,” Church said of his upcoming 2017 tour, the Tennessean reports. “And I’m going to do an intermission in the middle so people can get beer, which is not really done in country shows. I think it’s a neat way for fans to interact, and it gives us a breather and it gives them a breather. You can talk about what’s been played and how the show is so far.”
Eric Church added that “to me, it’s just a night of music. Especially when we play a lot of album cuts and the big thing I get is we go play shows and I think it’s the greatest show ever and we have somebody say, ‘What about “Young and Wild?”‘ This will allow us to get to a lot more of those songs and lot more of those different sets every night that makes it fun for us, and I think will make it fun for the fans. It’s going to be the best musical experience we can provide.”

“I think it is important to always try and make things better, and we constantly have a lens on the fans and the common people that have to go through the front door,” John Peets, Eric Church’s manager, said of the new system for purchasing concert tickets. “It’s not lost on me that we separate them from their time and their money, and they probably had to get a baby sitter. It’s always been important to Eric and I to go, ‘If that’s the case, we need to treat them with a lot of respect. ‘”
