If you’re planning to catch director Bill Condon’s The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 when it arrives in theaters next month, co-star Kellan Lutz has a word of advice: stay after the credits. According to The Insider, Lutz revealed that the final installment of the popular series will contain a sequence after the end credits have rolled. Unless you want to be the only person not discussing the scene around the proverbial water cooler, you may want to stick around for the surprise.
During a recent event for a teen-oriented chewing gum, Lutz decided to let the cat out of the bag. “They’re gonna love it, and Bill [Bill Condon, the director] even told me that, stay for the credits — there’s a really special thing happening,” he said.
Regarding the adaptation of Stephenie Meyer’s beloved novel, Kellan said that filmmaker Bill Condon didn’t stick completely to the source material. “Every film’s been building and building, and Bill Condon really had a great idea with ending the series with Breaking Dawn 2, and just adding a little more flavor to parts of the book that weren’t there, but he elaborated more on,” he explained. “I think the fans are really going to enjoy it.”
As the film’s release date draws near, more promotional material has started to find its way online. Fans, for example, were treated to the final trailer for Breaking Dawn earlier this month. Just recently, the folks over at Hollywood Life got their hands on a copy of the film’s leaked Japanese poster, which finds the vampiric parents standing guard over their little girl.
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2, which stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner, among others, is scheduled to arrive in US theaters on November 16.
