‘The Big Bang Theory’ Season 10 Spoilers: Bernadette Will Have Her Baby?

Will Bernadette have her baby in The Big Bang Theory Season 10? That has been the big question for many fans, and there were speculations that she wouldn’t. Now showrunner Steve Molaro has shared some Big Bang Theory spoilers to tease fans.

The good news for fans is that Bernadette’s baby will be born at some point during the season. However, the cast will have some fun with the pregnancy first, and that includes a big baby belly. Molaro has hinted that the baby belly will appear very soon, and she will be wider than she is tall! This was done for comedy, since Melissa Rauch, who plays the character, is the shortest in the cast.

Rauch also shared spoilers on her character’s future in TBBT. She said that her belly will be the first thing people see when she enters Sheldon’s apartment. While speaking at San Diego Comic-Con 2016, she said that she was very excited about the baby bump, although she hadn’t been fitted for the prosthetic yet. That suggests that the bump won’t appear at the very start of the season, giving a more realistic feel to the show. Bernadette was in the very early stages at the end of The Big Bang Theory Season 9.

Molaro confirmed that the plan is for the baby to come into the show during Season 10. Plans could change, but it does mean that there will be a happy ending to this pregnancy. At one point in Season 9, fans wondered whether the comedy show would focus on the devastating possibility of a miscarriage when Howard and Raj couldn’t find a heartbeat with the doppler device.

A Big Bang Theory baby wasn’t the only question that fans had for Molaro. There were also questions regarding Penny’s career and meeting her mother and brother. It turns out that there are still thoughts regarding Penny’s storyline, and whether she will quit her job as a pharmaceutical rep or not.

This is a storyline that Molaro wants to cover properly. It is a relatable storyline for many, who have dreams but need to pay the bills, so they stick with a safer job. She will have decisions to make, and fans will get to see her weigh up the pros and cons.

Katey Sagal has already been confirmed as Penny’s mother and will definitely appear in The Big Bang Theory Season 10. Fans have loved hearing this, considering Sagal played Kaley Cuoco’s mother in 8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenager Daughter. While the characters may be slightly different, there will be many nostalgic thoughts for the fans.

As for Amy and Sheldon, Molaro kept quiet on the relationship. There is hope that Sheldon will learn to view sex as something fun, but that will take time. Sheldon has come a long way throughout the series, and the writers want to keep it as realistic as possible.

Season 10 may be the end of the series. It has been contracted to run up to this by CBS, but the future of it hangs in the balance. It is possible that the salaries commanded by the higher earners in the cast will make CBS consider cancelling the show. Molaro doesn’t have plans to finish it yet, but it will be up to the network. He hasn’t shared any plans for that final episode, whether it is this season or later. Christian Today reports that a decision may be made within two weeks on the show’s longevity.

The Big Bang Theory Season 10 will premiere on September 19 on CBS. There will be a baby this season, and it could be the end of the show.
