Khloé Kardashian Weight Loss: As Critics Take On Reality Star’s Weight Loss ‘Obsession,’ She Strikes Back Against Body Critics

Khloé Kardashian showed off a shocking weight loss in recent weeks, and now the reality television star is standing up to her body critics — even as fears grow about her so-called “obsession” with dropping pounds.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star has been known for her struggles with her weight throughout the years but recently has taken on an entirely new look as she has reportedly dropped 40 pounds.

Khloé Kardashian’s weight loss has attracted plenty of attention while also bringing some criticism. The reality star shot back this week, taking on her weight critics in a series of tweets.

“I need to remember the date today!!” she wrote, via People magazine. “Never would I have ever thought I would be in the media for being ‘too skinny’. What on earth?!?!”

“First I’m too fat and now I’m too skinny,” her second tweet read. “I love this game!!”

That has done little to stop Khloé’s weight critics. One of those is Celeb Dirty Laundry, which picked up on Khloé’s statement that she is taking “20 vitamins a day” as part of her weight-loss regimen.

“While there’s nothing wrong with hitting the gym regularly, if Khloé Kardashian is indeed taking 20 vitamins a day, that might be a clear indication that she’s not eating properly. At this point, it seems like Khloe Kardashian’s weight loss obsession has gone too far, as taking any kind of vitamin in excess is clearly not good for her body.”

Khloé has grown pretty used to getting a lot of attention in her personal life, with nearly every major point in her life playing out before a television audience. Her reality show documented Khloé’s failing marriage and eventual divorce from Lamar Odom, as well as the ups and downs of her subsequent relationships. Along the way, she has gained legions of fans as well as a number of vocal critics.

Khloé Kardashian hasn’t seemed too bothered with what others thought about her weight, or her weight loss, for that matter. Back in April, Khloé told People’s StyleWatch that she started to lose weight when she finally stopped listening to what others said about her and stopped believing her own limitations.

“I have always made excuses, like ‘I am big-boned,’ or ‘I’m just not built that size,’ or ‘I could never be a size whatever,’ she says. But now, 40 pounds lighter, she doesn’t get hung up on excuses — especially ones stemming from a scale. ‘I don’t weigh myself, I don’t believe in numbers.'”

Khloé Kardashian seems to be quite proud about her weight loss, as well. The reality star has shown off plenty of pictures of her new physique online, with Instagram shots showing off just how much weight she’s dropped.

She has also been open about how much more work needs to be done. Khloé told People that she will never be satisfied and is always striving to live healthier and be more active.

But she’s also not imposing tight restrictions on herself.

“I had chicken fingers last night. I like to enjoy myself,” Khloé said.

Khloé Kardashian is also thinking about where her weight loss journey will take her in the future, saying she’s not sure what she’ll look like in 10 years but that she’s going to do her best to remain youthful.

“But that’s the fun of life,” she said. “I hope I age gracefully. I believe in lasers and fillers, whatever makes you happy. But I am not obsessive about that stuff. I just like to take care of myself. I sleep with oils and lotions on my face every night.”
