Kendall Jenner Shades Taylor Swift Over Kanye and Taylor Feud: Kendall Is ‘Out Of The Squad’

Kendall Jenner is a Kardashian first and foremost, and she’s come out swinging, albeit diplomatically, to defend Kim Kardashian and Kanye West in their ongoing feud with Taylor Swift. There was some doubt over Kendall’s loyalty to the Kardashian family, since she’s also known to be friends of a sort with Taylor, but Kendall’s Twitter account in the last day have made her position clear. Hollywood Life reports that it’s “family first” for the 20-year-old Jenner sister, although for a while, she was “tight-lipped” about the Kanye West vs. Taylor Swift feud.

Kendall hasn’t “publicly commented” even now that she’s used social media likes and favorites to tell her fans which side she’s on. Instead of writing anything that could come back to bite her if Swift got mad, Kendall contented herself with pointedly liking some of her sister Kim’s tweets. Her likes and favorites are so pointed that no one could doubt her meaning.

Kendall favorited a tweet on July 17 in which Kim, 36, wrote, “do u guys follow me on snap chat? u really should ;)” Kim had a particular reason for tweeting that message at that exact time. She was fed up with Taylor’s attitude in the feud and decided to upload to her Snapchat account the phone conversation that Taylor and Kanye had over Kanye’s “Famous” song and video. Kendall caught on right away and was “clearly” acting in support of her Kardashian big sister.

Kendall is more known as a “super-chilled” person who might be “one of the least aggro celebs of all time,” according to Look magazine, but all that good nature finally reached its limit. Jenner had to “throw a little shade” at her possibly soon-to-be ex-friend. It’s put her in a tough position though. While it’s true that Kendall and Taylor “have never been besties,” Jenner’s best friends are totally in the Swifty squad, and according to Elite Daily, Kendall herself used to be “all up in the Swift squad” along with her BFFs.

Gigi Hadid, 21, and Cara Delevingne, 23, are best friends with Kendall and also “super close” with Kim and Kanye’s enemy, Swift. That could make things “a little awkward” for all of them, and explain why Jenner didn’t actually say anything about Taylor. One fan tweeted that Hadid can’t comment on the Kim vs Taylor feud because she’s friends with both Swift and Jenner.

Jenner might also be remembering Taylor’s ideas about revenge. It’s only six years ago that Kendall and Kylie Jenner were having a ton of fun “running around Calabasas” making music videos of all their fave songs. Us Weekly reminds fans that one of those songs was Taylor Swift’s “Better Than Revenge.” With lyrics like, “She should keep in mind there’s nothing better than revenge,” it’s no wonder Kendall is being careful where Swift is concerned.

But the target of Swift’s “Revenge” song may have some advice for Kylie Jenner’s big sister. On July 18, Camilla Belle got into the Kanye, Kim, and Taylor feud and totally sided with “Team Kimye” while “finally” getting a taste of revenge for herself. Belle shared an Instagram post that made her anti-Swift position obvious. “No need for revenge,” she wrote. “Just sit back and wait.”

“Those who hurt you will eventually screw up themselves & if you’re lucky, God will let you watch.”

Jenner is doing a little more than just sitting back and watching while Taylor and Kim fight it out, but she’s also keeping some of that famous super chilled attitude, and not getting carried away with flinging a lot of shade at Swift.
