Four Metallic Orb UFOs Spotted Stalking Military Cargo Plane Over Memphis, Tennessee

A witness from Memphis, Tennessee, claims to have sighted four metallic orb UFOs that came out of a cloud as a military cargo plane flew past. The four orbs followed the cargo plane briefly before disappearing back into the clouds.

According to the witness in a report submitted to the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) and filed as Case 77636, he was taking lunch break at work — a warehouse about five miles from Memphis International Airport — at about 12:30 p.m. on July 12, 2016, when he saw a large military cargo plane taking off from the airport, heading south. The plane then turned and headed east as it took off.

Four metallic orbs appeared suddenly out of the clouds as the plane took off, forcing it to make a maneuver. The four orb UFOs then followed the plane, according to the witness.

“I saw a large military cargo plane — the kind that drops tanks out of the back with parachutes attached — taking off from the airport heading south, then turned to head east as it was taking off,” the witness reported.

He recalled thinking to himself as he grabbed his phone to record the sighting that it was risky for a huge cargo plane to make a sharp turning maneuver while taking off.

“The plane made a small maneuver as the metallic orbs appeared out of the small clouds,” he wrote. “I thought to myself that the huge plane shouldn’t try that at such a slow speed.”

He attempted to capture a photo of the cargo plane and the orbs at once. After he snapped a photo, he looked at his camera to review it. He was able to confirm that he had captured the plane and orbs flying together. But when he looked up in the sky again the orbs had disappeared mysteriously.

They had apparently withdrawn behind the clouds again.

“I stopped looking at the orbs to check the photo… [but] when I looked back to the sky I didn’t see the orbs anymore.”

The witness was unable to explain the nature of the orbs and why they emerged suddenly from the clouds and began following the cargo plane.

But UFO blogger Scott C. Waring suggested in a post to his UFO Sightings Daily blog that the UFOs were metallic alien orb UFOs. The UFO hunter speculated that they had been hiding in the clouds waiting for planes to fly past so that they can “scan the technology.”

“Perhaps the orbs were hiding and waiting for planes, so they could scan the technology.”

The area around the Memphis International Airport is a UFO hotspot. There have been multiple reports of UFO sightings linked to the airport in recent years, some of which have been debunked.

Open Minds TV reported a bizarre UFO sighting over I-55, near the airport, in MUFON Case 77441.

The witness reported he was driving southbound to Memphis Airport on I-55 on June 22, 2016, and was approaching the Delta Refinery when he saw a UFO hovering in the sky over the highway at about 3:30 a.m.

“As we got closer, I slowed and rolled my window down and stuck my head out to get a better view. It was not moving nor making any sound,” the unnamed witness reported. “I could not believe what I was seeing.”

He claimed to have seen a massive gray-colored UFO, “double the size of [a] large jetliner,” hovering about 1,000 and 1,500 feet high.

“It seemed to be over twice the size of a 737 and [was] just hanging there in the sky,” the witness said. “It was shaped like a V made of two rectangles, cut at the ends to make a point.”

“I would guess the legs of the V to be 30-feet to 50-feet square and 200-feet to 300-feet long with the span at the back of the V about 150-feet,” he added.

The witness thought of pulling over and searching through his luggage for his camera. But he abandoned the idea because he did not think it was safe to stop on the highway at the time.

“The traffic was light, but it was all tractor trailer rigs,” he reported. “I tried adjusting my left rear view mirror, but could not see it even when I looked back.”
