Selena Gomez Is Happy To Have A Break From Justin Bieber? After He’s Seen With Nicola Peltz, She’s ‘Busy And Enjoying Tour Life’

Selena Gomez is reportedly loving life away from her on-again, off-again boyfriend, Justin Bieber.

As Bieber continues to enjoy the single life, most recently going out on a date with Transformers actress Nicola Peltz, Selena Gomez is busy with her tour, and luckily for her, her hectic schedule has allowed her mind to take a break from concerning herself with the happenings in the life of her ex-boyfriend.

“[Selena Gomez] is busy and enjoying being on tour, she loves not having to miss Justin, she loves not having to be bored and text Justin to pass the time,” a source told Hollywood Life on June 1. “She loves that she doesn’t have to keep tabs on him because she would always watch out for what he was doing while she was not working.”

Selena Gomez kicked off her Revival Tour in Las Vegas last month and will remain on tour until December, when her series concludes in Mexico. As Selena Gomez fans may recall, Selena Gomez’s stop in Las Vegas turned out to be quite controversial after she was spotted spending time with Orlando Bloom, the boyfriend of singer Katy Perry (who just so happens to be the alleged arch-nemesis of Gomez’s best friend, Taylor Swift).

While Selena Gomez and Bloom appeared to be quite cozy in photos shared by TMZ at the time, nothing was believed to have happened between them and Bloom and Perry are still dating, and while Bieber was said to be upset about the possible relationship, Selena Gomez is said to be unfazed.

“[Selena Gomez] loves being busy and enjoying tour life and just being completely out of Justin’s radar. It has been a pretty nice and therapeutic,” the Hollywood Life source explained.

In March, around the time Bieber kicked off his Purpose World Tour, Selena Gomez supported him at his Los Angeles show, and around the same time, he shared a throwback photo of them on Instagram which immediately prompted rumors of a possible reconciliation. However, while Bieber reportedly planned to win her back, he eventually ditched his plans.

“Justin wanted to rent out the Staples Center after his concert to do a repeat date night screening of Titanic for [Selena Gomez] because he is trying to get back with her,” an insider told E! News in March.

However, after allegedly getting into an argument with Selena Gomez before the show, he called things off.

“I don’t know why he didn’t go through with it, and I also don’t know if he ever even told [Selena Gomez] about his plan, but I do know he is really obviously trying to date her again,” the source explained. “He wanted to do something big and extravagant for her like this and had been making arrangements for the movie date before his concert even started.”

According to the report, Bieber was “off” for the entire day leading up to his show, and in addition to acting strangely on stage, he cancelled a meet-and-greet which fans paid $2,000 to attend.

“The speculation is that an argument had taken place between the two before the show since he cancelled the date plans,” said the source. “Something had shifted Bieber’s mood completely.”

Since Selena Gomez attended Bieber’s show months ago, they have not been seen together at all, nor have they interacted with one another publicly on social media.
