Adam Levine Jokes That He And His Wife Are Both 20 Weeks Pregnant And ‘Finally Popping’

Adam Levine and wife Behati Prinsloo are ready for their first child to arrive, according to Music News. The 37-year-old Maroon 5 frontman revealed he is ready to be a dad!

Music News reported that, in a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, The Voice coach shared what he thinks about becoming a parent. He said he was born to be a parent, and that’s “what we’re here for, really.” Adam Levine added that everything else is great in his life, but it’s parenthood that is the most important thing in this life.

“When you are doing this for the first time, everybody loves to tell you what you should be doing. So, we’re kind of tuning a lot of it out and we’re just going to do it how we do it.”

Prinsloo, a Victoria’s Secret model, and Adam Levine married in July 2014. The two have repeatedly made statements that they want to have a large family together. In one of his interviews, Levine even went as far as saying that he wanted more kids with the model than is “socially responsible.”

The media first reported that Adam Levine and his wife were expecting a child in early March, but the news was officially confirmed earlier this month when Prinsloo posted an Instagram photo with a baby bump.

And just yesterday, Adam Levine posted a photo on Instagram in which he announced that his wife was 20 weeks pregnant, and compared their impressive baby bumps.

Last month, Adam Levine told Us Weekly that he was “over the moon” with excitement and joy about Prinsloo’s pregnancy, adding that his wife was three or four months along. The news came as rumors about Levine’s alleged tense relationship with fellow Voice coach Miley Cyrus, continue to circulate around the Internet.

Earlier in April, a source told Us Weekly that Adam Levine and Cyrus “totally butted heads” when Cyrus first showed up on the set of The Voice as an advisor during Season 11. Another source close to The Voice said that both Levine and Cyrus have short attention spans.

“They find each other annoying. [Adam Levine] would get agitated when Miley would interrupt him, and she enjoyed getting under his skin.”

Adam Levine and Cyrus will have to be sitting next to each other the entire Season 11, so viewers of the NBC show may expect some drama between the two.

“[Adam Levine] and Miley were non-stop bickering during their last taping together.”

According to a source close to The Voice, Adam Levine allegedly nitpicks everything that comes out of Cyrus’ mouth.

“Adam seems to find Miley to be extremely loud-mouthed and absolutely annoying!”

It is believed by some media that Christina Aguilera was involved in bringing Cyrus on the show. Aguilera is believed to be on bad terms with Gwen Stefani, the love interest of fellow coach Blake Shelton, which is why Aguilera could have brought Cyrus on the NBC show so that Stefani wouldn’t be one of the coaches.

And according to the same source, creators of The Voice already have doubts about their decision to enlist Cyrus, as the “Wrecking Ball” singer cannot get along with Adam Levine.

Adam Levine is still mourning the death of Prince, according to Hollywood Life. The Maroon 5 frontman recently showed up at a charity event organized by The Voice at the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and said he was shocked by the death of Prince, who died at his home in Minnesota late last month.

Adam Levine added that Prince was always his inspiration because he never allowed people to stop him from accomplishing things creatively and musically.

“He was just fearless and did things his way. I always wanted to do things my way, and [Prince was one of the] people who inspire me to do that.”
