Gwen Stefani Heading Out On A Summer Tour With Eve, Gives Advice To Musicians

Gwen Stefani is a non-stop subject of rumors involving her current relationship with co-judge on the hit show The Voice. Gwen and her beau Blake Shelton quickly became music’s “it couple” late last year after the two finally fessed up to a romance after speculation and the rumor mill began churning about the couple.

Since last fall, Stefani and Shelton have been going strong. Blake even became the adorable subject of a number of Stefani’s singles on her latest album, This Is What The Truth Feels Like. Ok! was the most recent tabloid to make unverified claims that Gwen and Blake are ready for a wedding and planning for a new little one.

“Gwen Stefani is busy planning her dream nuptials to Blake Shelton but that’s not all the couple is preparing for. Sources told OK! that the 46-year-old singer and 39-year-old country crooner are thinking long-term for their relationship and want a baby, too.”

Gwen is shrugging it all off and prepping for a tour with rapper Eve, whom Stefani collaborated with over a decade ago on the track “Let Me Blow Your Mind.” The duo is sure to do just that.

Entertainment Weekly relays the details about the upcoming tour that were shared via Gwen Stefani’s Twitter account.

“Stefani, who scored her first No. 1 solo album with last month’s This Is What the Truth Feels Like, announced Monday via her Twitter account that she is taking the record on the road this summer. The No Doubt front woman is also taking rapper Eve, who worked with Stefani on 2001’s “Let Me Blow Ya Mind” and 2004’s “Rich Girl,” along as her opening act.”

The tour includes 27 dates and kicks off in the summer of July 12 at the Xfinity Center in Mansfield, Massachusetts. The This Is What the Truth Feels Like tour wraps on October 15 in Inglewood, California, at The Forum.

As for Eve’s recent musical contributions, the rapper released her latest album back in 2013, Lip Lock. Eve has also taken to the big screen once more by reprising her role as Terri Jones in Barbershop: The Next Cut. The film opened this past weekend.

Gwen has been a massive success since she came on the scene as the frontwoman for No Doubt in the mid 90s. Her ability to stay relevant to fans and to appeal to a wide range of music-lovers has kept her in the spotlight. A recent divorce from her husband of 13 years, Gavin Rossdale, has not appeared to slow the star down one bit, and Stefani is open about giving musical-hopefuls and those seeking to follow their dreams the necessary tips for getting where they wish to be. Just Jarred shares Gwen’s advice for blossoming musicians.

“People should always do what’s genuine to them and their heart. Try to be true to yourself because people…see right through that stuff. For me, I never in my wildest dreams thought that I would be anywhere outside of my dad’s garage.”

The 46-year-old superstar gave her advice to fans, and those wishing to break into the business, via a chat with the social business networking site LinkedIn. It’s likely that Gwen Stefani’s words resonated with her millions of fans and followers. Whether Gwen is planning a marriage with Blake or simply enjoying life as a successful mother, fashion designer and musical powerhouse, she’s a force to be reckoned with and it may be worth heeding her advice.
