Sonja Morgan Says Ramona Singer Goes To The Press About ‘RHONY’ Scandals And Drama

Sonja Morgan has known Ramona Singer for many years, and they were friends long before they started filming The Real Housewives of New York. And while Sonja tried to be there for Ramona when she was going through her divorce drama, it sounds like Morgan has no problem throwing her friend under the bus. Sonja recently gave Radar Online an interview, where she revealed that Singer had no problem going to the press about details, feuds, and drama that are happening between the ladies.

According to a new Radar Online report, Sonja Morgan revealed that her co-star would go to the press about just about anything. Morgan is referring to the drama that took place between Dorinda Medley and the ladies, where Bethenny Frankel and Singer decided to bring up her relationship with John Mahdessian. Both ladies feel that Dorinda is too good for John, and it sounds like Sonja could see her co-star go to the press about this fight. While she has regretted bringing this issue up with Dorinda, Morgan feels that everyone should get used to these random outbursts.

“Knowing Ramona as long as I do, I know she’s unfiltered and anything she finds out, she’s going to hit the press,” Sonja Morgan revealed to Radar Online, adding, “Period. Take it or leave it. If you are friends with Ramona, that’s the way it is.”

Sonja reveals that she has had her own issues with her friend over the years. Of course, the two haven’t always seen eye-to-eye and Ramona was disappointed that Morgan wasn’t a big support system for her after her divorce. Plus, Sonja Morgan made headlines for months for getting wasted, hanging out with much younger met and setting a bad example as a mother.

“I’ve had my ups and downs with Ramona, so Dorinda and Ramona fighting, that just goes with being friends,” Sonja explains, adding about Bethenny Frankel, “I think Bethenny calls it the way she see it. Good or bad.”

It sounds like Morgan can respect Bethenny for speaking out bluntly and sharing her opinions. And Sonja just seems shocked that none of her co-stars are used to this treatment. Plus, she points to the new housewife, Jules Wainstein, hinting that it is only a matter of time before she’s rattled.

“It’s only a matter of time before the newbie gets embroiled in the drama on the show,” she explains of Jules Wainstein, adding, “And no one is exempt from the Frankel frankness.”

Even though Sonja Morgan can forgive and forget when it comes to Singer’s behavior, Dorinda doesn’t seem so forgiving. Everyone was shocked when Medley revealed that Singer had never hurt her or betrayed her in 20 years. Maybe that comment should have been foreshadowing for what was to come in that episode. In her blog for the show, she reveals she was shocked to see Singer’s behavior.

“How about that phone call with Ramona and Bethenny? It was like Mean Girls on acid, just add a few decades here and there. Just really gross. Here I was, planning something cute and light and FUN for the girls (and only girls), but they were setting up some ambush between The Two Towers. It truly left my jaw on the floor, because I saw it was a serious premeditated ambush,” Dorinda revealed in her blog for The Real Housewives of New York, according to Bravo, questioning her friendship with Ramona.

And it sounds like Morgan wants Medley to realize that this wasn’t just a one-time thing — and not to be surprised if her personal life ends up in the media.
