Katy Perry and John Mayer “Definitely Dating”

Katy Perry and John Mayer are definitely in a relationship according to many sources in the “know”. The couple was first spotted together leaving the Chateau Marmont together over a week ago, but have since been seen getting close all over town.  Multiple sources have said the couple was “definitely dating”.

Perry and Mayer, which could form a union of two of the country’s hottest music stars, reportedly did not leave each other’s side all weekend according to the same sources.  The couple also went together to one of the biggest parties of the year.

The party was hosted by Hollywood mega-agent Michael Kives.  The amenities at the blast included rented alligators, lemurs and raccoons places all around the house.  The guest list, in addition to Perry and Mayer, included Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jessica Chastain.  Sources say that Perry and Mayer got to the party around 8:30 and were together all night long.

One partygoer said,

“They were standing on the terrace on the ground level and petting all the exotic animals. Katy loved the lemur and was trying to get it to sit on her shoulders. There was an alligator, a baby raccoon and other animals. Katy and John never left each other’s side and were flirting and affectionate the entire time. Katy loved it!”

After her very public divorce from comedian Russell Brand, Katy has tried to shy away from the camera for a little bit.  Her choice of Mayer to team up with is a little puzzling because he is known to have a very big mouth when it comes to spilling details of his past relationships.  Just ask Jennifer Love Hewitt, Jessica Simpson and Jennifer Aniston.

A source close to Mayer was quoted as saying,

“Maybe he’s a changed man, but Katy likes bad boys… I can’t imagine John’s changed that much.”
