Gwen Stefani Talks Blake Shelton Booty Brouhaha & Pours Love For Him Into Song: Album Art Disses Gavin Rossdale

Gwen Stefani has become famous in so many ways. There’s her music career, her role as a coach on The Voice, and her success in the competitive fashion world. But recently, Gwen, along with her boyfriend, Blake Shelton, became famous for something very different. And that’s a photo of the country crooner openly ogling her booty in what’s become a brouhaha, reported Us Weekly.

But it’s not her butt that Blake was admiring, insisted Stefani. The picture was shot when Shelton was taking on the role of chauffeur for Gwen along with trio of sons Kingston, 9, Zuma, 7, and Apollo, 23 months. And when the pop star exited the car, the country crooner just couldn’t seem to keep his eyes away from her curvy rear. Or was he?

Talking with Ryan Seacrest, Stefani tried to change the impression of Blake as an ogler.

“Let’s just set the record straight. What was he looking at?” Seacrest questioned.

The answer was complicated, but it did reveal that Gwen is showing Shelton just what life is like as a celebrity parent with three young boys. And it’s giving him some training for what he can expect if Blake decides to settle down and become a family guy with kids.

“Try to picture being a mom and going to a football game on the weekend with your kids and being surrounded by 30 cameras. I was literally going across the field, like trying to stroll [and] get into the car and [was] being completely swarmed. [I was] doing it as fast as I could and I literally opened the back of the truck and all the groceries fell out … and, like, I am trying to rush because everybody’s watching me … and all the other parents are getting mad. … So I’m like, trying to open my door and like, not one, but two basketballs and a football fell out.”

As a result, Blake was staring not at her butt but at her balls, added Stefani.

“So he was looking at the balls,” she concluded.

Shelton and Stefani have been dating since November. Since then, they’ve enjoyed romantic getaways together. And most recently, Gwen gave a clue as to what she feels for Blake in her new track, “Make Me Like You,” with lyrics that are reportedly focusing on Shelton.

“I was fine before I met you / I was broken but fine / I was lost and uncertain / But my heart was still mine / I was free before I met you / I was broken but free / All alone in the clear view / But now you are all I see. I really like you, but I’m so scared / Why’d you have to go and make me like you? … I’m so mad at you, ’cause now you got me missing you.”

So how does Blake feel about those lyrics? Shelton is already a major fan, tweeting his admiration promptly.

Before they found love with each other, Blake and Gwen suffered through divorces. Miranda Lambert and Shelton split in July, while Gavin Rossdale and Stefani ended their 13-year marriage only a month later.

And now, it appears that Gwen is using her album cover to throw shade at Gavin, who is reported to have cheated behind her back for several years with the family nanny, reported She Knows.

For what is her first solo album in a decade, the artwork for the cover includes Gwen’s photo in a close-up. Drawings over her face and hand include a ring on her finger with a scowling face and tears on her face. Is that an arrow aimed at Rossdale from Stefani?

In addition to the album artwork, one of the singles, “Used To Love You,” seems especially targeted at Gavin. Translation: It’s over, dude.
