Teri Hatcher’s Shockingly Short Hair
Teri Hatcher was rocking a new short bob at the opening night celebration at The Hollywood Bowl on Friday night.
The actress’ long and lustrous locks have appeared on shows such as Desperate Housewives since 2004. Hatcher’s new ‘do comes just one month after the final ever episode of the comedy-drama aired on ABC.
The 47-year-old’s new haircut has a ‘razored’ effect at the ends, and is noticeably lighter than her usual dark brunette color. The star wore a floral shift dress to the Hollywood Bowl event, as well as a pair of strappy green wedges.
After eight years of being a desperate housewife, Hatcher is enjoying time away from work.
But if rumors are to be believed, the actress won’t necessarily be missed by her Desperate Housewives cast-mates. For years, speculation has persisted that there has been a rift between her and fellow stars Eva Longoria, Marcia Cross, Felicity Huffman and Vanessa Williams.
And, after Celebuzz posted a photograph of a gift card from the show’s cast which every lead actress bar Hatcher had signed (‘Thank you for a magical 8 years. Love Eva, Marcia, Felicity and Vanessa.‘), the whispers intensified.
A production source later told the website: ‘The girls don’t get along with Teri, so they organised this and left her out.’
It’s not the first time Hatcher has been given the cold shoulder: at a 2005 Vanity Fair cover shoot, Cross and Longoria supposedly threatened to walk off if they were made to pose with Teri in the center. Hatcher was eventually shunted to the far left of the final image.

As for a rift between the Desperate Housewives actresses, people are always saying that, especially when there are a bunch of women on the set. It may or may not have been true. Besides, now it's history. It will be interesting to see what avenue each of them takes, now that the show is over.

Very age appropriate. A refreshing change. A woman can't wear the same hairstyle for decades after all. A very special lady who had the courage to write a book, as well as initiate a criminal case (and obtain a conviction) related to her being a victim of incest…& in doing so….prevented any other girl from ever being victimized by the perpetrator….but via her book may have an untold number of girls & women deal with being sexual abuse victims. We should all be lifelong Teri fans in the same way we applauded the victims of Jery Sandusky who had the courage to speak out. Cudos to Teri no matter what her hairstyle ever looks like.

First, that's not "shockingly" short. Second, I'm sorry Teri, but that's not a good look for you. It may be a deliberate "style," but it just looks like a bad haircut. I don't know how much you paid for it, but you should ask for a refund and go elsewhere. Whoever told you this makes you look good was lying.
