Gigi Hadid Tweets: Model Tweets – Then Deletes – About Zayn Malik
Gigi Hadid may have spoken out about her relationship with Zayn Malik. The model responded to haters on Twitter who slammed her new relationship as fake.
Last week, it was revealed that Gigi Hadid, 20, and Zayn Malik, 22, are officially dating. The hot new couple was spotted after the American Music Awards. Since then, Hadid and Malik have been spotted at the Hollywood hot spot, The Nice Guy restaurant, a few times now. The gorgeous couple were recently spotted holding hands and wearing each other’s eyewear on social media.
With so much news about Gigi and Zayn’s relationship, some fans are wondering if the blonde beauty is moving too fast. Others think it’s inconsiderate of her to show off her new relationship when she just dumped Joe Jonas earlier this month. There are also some who think that Gigi and Zayn are just dating for publicity. As previously pointed out by Seventeen magazine, it appears that some of that criticism got to Gigi’s head, who took to Twitter to respond to her haters in a series of tweets that were quickly deleted.
She wrote, “Sometimes life just happens…For whatever reason in whatever timing. And sometimes it doesn’t make sense ’til it does. That’s it.”
The Victoria’s Secret model then posted and deleted a scenic beach photo with the word “Chill,” similar to a photo that Kylie Jenner shared of herself with Tyga after the breakup rumors swirled.

According to Elite Daily, Hadid tweeted (and deleted) three other messages, in which she defended her new relationship.
“I’ve found the only way to happiness is by living as though the microscope isn’t there. There’s just no need to be judgmental about situations that are not your own. Let live. If there was a real way to sit with each one of you and tell you my side of things, I would. But there’s not, so I won’t.”
Us Weekly thinks that Gigi Hadid could be apologizing to her ex-boyfriend, Joe Jonas, not to her haters. But that’s hard to believe since most of Malik’s fans are overprotective and have pestered the model on social media. It’s likely that Hadid still has the JoBro’s phone number, so she could just text him an apology. Or better yet, they could talk it over on the phone.
An insider told the Hollywood Life that Joe Jonas was “blindsided” over the news of Zayn and Gigi’s hot Hollywood hookup. That’s because his model girlfriend she was too busy to date because of her hectic schedule.
“He was under the impression that she wasn’t going to see anyone for a while. The main reason why they broke up in the first place was because of her busy schedule. Gigi told Joe that her career was too demanding for a relationship.”
It looks like even the gold folks over at Elle need some convincing on whether or not Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik are in fact dating. The two stars haven’t taken to social media to address the status of their relationship. Ironically enough, neither Gigi nor Zayn have even shared photos of each other on their popular Instagram accounts, yet their spotted hand-in-hand in Hollywood on an almost nightly basis.
It looks like the couple’s relationship is going to bring some drama. Joe Jonas unfollowed both Hadid and Malik on both Instagram and Twitter over the holiday weekend. Not to mention, Malik got into a Twitter beef with Taylor Swift’s boyfriend, Calvin Harris, over the summer. It’ll be interesting to see if these two BFFs double-date with their dueling boyfriends.
People magazine is also not too sure on what to make about Zayn and Gigi’s relationship. An inside source said that the couple may have held hands a few days ago, but their dating looked anything but romantic.
“It wasn’t a date and there wasn’t any PDA. They all had a fun time, but it didn’t seem romantic or like a date.”
