Ben Fields’ Black Girlfriend: African-American Woman Who’s Been Dating Deputy Ben Sparks Memes [Photos]

Ben Fields has a black girlfriend. According to the New York Times, Sheriff Lott alluded to the fact that Fields could hardly be considered a racist, because Deputy Ben had been dating an African-American woman for some time. And so, the search is on for Ben’s black girlfriend online.

Folks want to know who Deputy Fields’ black girlfriend is, and what the African-American woman’s viewpoint is as a black woman on her boyfriend Ben’s assault on a black female student.

“He deflected a question about the role of race, saying Deputy Fields has a black girlfriend.”

However, the real question at the heart of the controversy over Ben’s alleged black girlfriend, if she indeed exists, is whether or not Deputy Fields slams her around as student Niya Kenny claimed Ben “Officer Slam” slammed pregnant women and teenage girls around, as reported by the Inquisitr. Alas, an online search for Fields’ black girlfriend doesn’t readily turn up any photos of the African-American woman. In Google Images, a search for Ben’s black girlfriend results in plenty of still photos of the now infamous event wherein Deputy Fields slammed the black student to the ground.

On Twitter, searches for Fields’ African-American girlfriend turned up joke photos in the photo results of a search for Ben’s black girlfriend.

A search for information about Fields’ girlfriend turned up no hits as of this writing, via the Associated Press.

“He’s been dating an African-American female for quite some time now. So does that have a bearing on his thought process? It may have. But I would think that would have it on a positive way, not on a negative way. So I don’t know. There’s been no indication of that. He’s never expressed that in the past. We’ve never seen that. It really doesn’t matter to me if that child is purple, it’s what his actions are and that’s what we’re concerned about.”

As reported by the Huffington Post, the fact that Fields has been dating a black woman for quite some time might have a bearing on his thought process. The inference was that Deputy Ben couldn’t be racist — perhaps — because he is dating an African-American woman. Sheriff Lott didn’t name the black woman who is reportedly Ben’s girlfriend, so it’s difficult to get a vibe on their relationship via social media photos and the like.

In the absence of any real photos of Fields’ black girlfriend, folks are posting photos of Rachel Dolezal, the white woman who said she identified more with the black culture and wanted to live her life as an African-American woman. They are also posting memes on Twitter of J. Alexander, also known as Miss J, on America’s Next Top Model, in GIFs making confused faces as to the relevancy of Fields’ alleged black girlfriend having a bearing upon his actions in the classroom at Spring Valley High School on Monday.

Deputy Ben’s Facebook and Twitter pages were quickly made private, and then deleted soon after Fields’ violent video went viral, reports the Inquisitr, and only Fields’ YouTube weightlifting videos are still live as of this writing. In the absence of any Instagram accounts attributed to Ben, his African-American girlfriend will remain a mystery for Olivia Pope to solve.
