Brad Pitt: Surprising Possible Guest Appearances, Divorce Ultimatums And Health Concerns
Brad Pitt is one of the countless, devoted fanatics who adore the hit British show, Peaky Blinders, which is set in Birmingham during the 1920’s. The creator of the BBC2 series, Steven Knight, explains that if he had his way, Pitt would certainly be guest starring in the upcoming season.
The talented producer shared his hopes with Birmingham Mail recently, in regards to Pitt’s appearance on the show.
“Who knows, next series a US air force pilot could come to Birmingham – you can’t rule it out! I can imagine him in the series, he is a fan. I have been spending quite a lot of time with him as I have been writing the sequel to World War Z as well as this new film.”
The series, Peaky Blinders, has experienced a massive success internationally and has even had star’s like rapper Snoop Dogg showing interest in the series and questioning Knight about the plot and direction of the show. For now, it seems that Pitt is focusing more on his film career. His current efforts, as Knight relays to the publication, is an “untitled Second World War romance set in Casablanca in 1942 and co-stars Marion Cotillard.”
Additional Brad Pitt news involves the apparent “ultimatum” he gave to wife Angelina Jolie after the notable actress and activist has apparently displayed signs of an eating disorder. Jolie has appeared to be quite thin lately, and rumors are making the rounds that the star is in need of rehab for her disorder. Pitt has given Jolie an ultimatum to end the couple’s marriage if Jolie refuses to get help, according to the gossip.
Hollywood Life perpetuated the rumor about Brad’s intentions to call it quits. An insider was quoted making reports on the issue.
“[Brad] told her if she doesn’t check into rehab for her eating disorder, he’s leaving and taking the kids with him. He wants Angie to focus on herself and her family, before it’s too late. Brad told her he doesn’t want their kids exposed to this situation any longer, and he’s not going to stand by and watch while the mother of his children kills herself.”
However, such claims have been shot down and noted to be completely fictional by Gossip Cop, after the publication reached out to both Pitt’s and Jolie’s reps on the issue.
“In [the story, Hollywood Life] doesn’t even mention trying to reach out to either of Jolie or Pitt’s reps or any other sources. Gossip Cop, however, was exclusively assured by a source close to the couple that that ‘divorce ultimatum’ was ‘totally untrue.'”
Fortunately, the air has been cleared, and we can all rest assured that Brad and Angelina are rock sold with their adorable family in tow. The couple has now been together for 10 years, and they have three adopted children along with three biological children.
Recently, Jolie has experienced her share of health concerns, and late last year, the actress announced that she was ready to take a break from being in the spotlight, although Jolie is eager to try her hand on more directorial projects. Jolie faced some difficult decisions in recent years with Pitt at her side. Her choices on major medical issues, which were made quite public, have reportedly done wonders for women’s health. Angelina, as CBC explains, actually helped increase awareness of breast reconstruction surgery.
“The key finding was that Mrs. Jolie’s announcement did indeed affect the public opinion going beyond gene-positivity [and] actually improving the awareness that breast reconstruction can be achieved with the use of one’s own tissue and that it can be done during the breast-removal operation.”
Now that’s a story that deserves to be reported on an international scale.
