Ohio Man Claims He Got ‘Too High’ — Police Find Him In Fetal Position Surrounded By Snacks

A man in Ohio had to call 911 this past Friday because he had run into a bit of trouble at his home and needed help. The man told the police that he was “too high on weed” and needed their assistance as fast as possible. Upon arriving at the man’s home, the cops found him curled up in the fetal position on his bedroom floor and completely surrounded by snacks.

According to the police report on the Smoking Gun, an officer was dispatched to the 22-year-old’s home in Austintown, Ohio, in reference to a drug overdose. The responding policeman, Officer Aaron Franks, was told by dispatch that the caller was “too high.”

The officer arrived at the home and was met by the man’s grandfather who said his grandson was upstairs in his room. Walking up the stairs, the officer could hear a groaning coming from the room at the end of the hall, so he approached slowly.

As he got to the door, the officer walked into the room and noticed the young man laying on the floor curled up in the fetal position. It was then that he noticed the man was “surrounded by a plethora of Doritos, Pepperidge Farm Goldfish, and Chips Ahoy Cookies.”

The Daily Mail reported that the man declared again that he was too high and he had “smoked too much weed.” Officer Franks said that the man was offered medical treatment after he declared that he was “too high and could not feel his hands.”

The man declined the medical treatment.

After advising Officer Franks that he had smoked the weed inside his vehicle, the man gave the officer the keys to his car. He gave the police “permission to recover the evidence” that they could find inside of his vehicle.

As the police searched the vehicle, they found rolling papers, a glass pipe containing marijuana residue, a glass jar with weed inside of it, and two partially smoked joints. The police seized all of the evidence found inside the vehicle.

The Ohio man, whose name was blacked out of the police report, will have misdemeanor charges placed on him. He is possibly going to be facing charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.

No word was released on what happened to the plethora of snacks or if any even remained after the man got “too high.”

After being brought down to the police station, the Ohio man did end up testing positive for THC as was expected. A court date has not yet been revealed, but will be set at a later time for the charges brought against him.

This isn’t the first case of someone actually calling the authorities to advise them of their own wrongdoing, and it likely won’t be the last.

Back in August, WTKR reported that a Virginia woman called the police and claimed that she wasn’t paid enough for her services of prostitution. She told them she had sex with a man who refused to give her their agreed upon price.

The woman was issued a summons for prostitution and released. NewsChannel 3 had attempted to speak with her about the situation, but she said she simply didn’t have the time because she “had a date.”

Marijuana is not legal in all places, and one of those places is Ohio. As the 22-year-old man who called the police and told them he was “too high” found out, you could end up being arrested and charged. That’s even if you are found in a compromised position and surrounded by snacks.
