Serena Williams Caught Smooching Drake: Will Drake Cheat Again? [Video]
Are Drake and Serena Williams an item? Nobody seems to know, but it certainly appears so. The pair dated back in 2011, but Serena called it off in 2012 after Drake was spotted on a date with model Dollicia Bryan. However, after a makeout session at Wimbledon, Drake and Serena are back on.
While this round of their relationship is “very new” according to E! News, a source close to Williams and Drake confessed that the couple is renewing their old flame, even though Serena has been keeping mum. “Publicly [Serena] says they’re just friends but Drake has been by Serena’s side throughout the tournament and when they’ve been away from the public and relaxed, it’s been pretty obvious that they are together.”

The pair hooked up at Wimbledon, and after Serena claimed her sixth title, Drake famously posted an Instagram snap celebrating with Williams. “Showtime Champ. A big plate for all that food you ate at Wimbledon!” Drake captioned the snap.
And another steamy date last Sunday, August 23, at Sotto, a restaurant in Cincinnati, seemingly confirms there’s something brewing between Williams and Drake, although they’re going with the flow since they both had their hearts broken in 2012, reports E! News.
Drake has carried a torch for Serena since they broke up in 2012, and although the pair have remained “friends for, like, so many years… Just like family,” according to The Daily Beast, Williams obviously had her heart broken when Drake was spotted on a date despite their confirmed relationship in the past.
“I do make mistakes — like every human does. But the last relationship was too much of a heartbreak for me,” Serena reportedly said at the time.
That same year, Drake famously had a beef with rapper Common, who also dated Serena in the past. The Daily Beast reports that the two butted heads, and Common confessed it was all over Williams, telling reporters “[a]t that time, I think it was the Drake-Serena situation … So unfortunately the war might have been over a girl.”
Maybe Serena and Drake have grown up a little, or maybe Drake has learned how to treat a lady. The pair seem to be back on, and now that Serena has her sixth Wimbleton title, the fun can begin. A source close to Williams reportedly confessed, according to Times News:
“Even Serena’s team have been talking about it in the clubhouse to a few people they trust. [Serena Williams] has been incredibly focused on her title bid. But if she’s had a quiet moment she’s spent it with Drake, even going to watch his Wireless set and having dinners in London.”
