We here at The Inquisitr love odd holidays, and today’s time to celebrate another winner: It’s National Honesty Day! Seriously. We’re not lying about this.

National Honesty Day evidently falls on April 30 of every year. According to the folks at Holiday Insights, the day is meant to “encourage us to be honest.” Seems logical enough.

There’s no special celebration technique, then, aside from being honest. So can you handle the truth?

National Honesty Day is believed to have ties with Mr. Honesty himself, George Washington.
