Liam Neeson Frail On New York Visit: He ‘Has Never Been Healthier’ Says Agent [Video]
Liam Neeson is so frail he was unrecognizable to fans as he walked the streets of New York City. After viewing the tabloid photographs, Neeson’s fans expressed concerns over social media that the actor might be sick because he’s so frail – but Liam insists he “has never been healthier,” according to the Daily Mail.
As he strolled around the city wearing a baseball cap and sunglasses, and sporting grey, wispy hair reminiscent of a much older man, Liam Neeson was frail and barely recognizable, causing some fans to express their shock. One of Liam’s fans tweeted “what the hells happened to Liam Neeson, he seems to have aged about 20 years in the space of a couple months,” and describing him as “pale, frail and unrecognizable.”

According to the New Zealand Herald, Neeson has cleared his schedule from any engagements, which is now sparking rumors that the frail star is ill. However, Liam’s spokesperson says the actor will start working on a new film this September, and he’s currently finishing another project – indicating that Liam hasn’t really cleared his calendar.
In a recent interview with the Daily Mail, Neeson revealed that even though he looks frail, growing older was a “touchy subject.” Liam recently celebrated his 63rd birthday on June 7th, as recently reported by the Inquisitr.
“My birthday is a touchy subject. I’m going to be 63 – nobody wants to be 63. I’m getting old,” Liam told the magazine. “What I want more than anything is for it to be ignored. I just hate it and it makes me feel vulnerable. It’s such a private thing – the day you were born, the day you came out of your mother’s womb.”
“Some people hire a boat and do grand things like that, but I just get embarrassed about that sort of celebration and attention,” Neeson confessed during the interview.
Despite his frail demeanor, however, it seems all is well with Liam. According to Star Pulse, the actor has a gaunt demeanor simply for a role. Neeson “just finished shooting Martin Scorcese’s latest film, and he’ll start shooting another film in September” reveals sources. Liam was recently seen just three weeks ago at a charity event for the Ronald McDonald House. At that event, Liam looked like the Liam Neeson we all know and love, indicating the frail figure really is just for a film.
