Boston University medical student Philip Markoff has been arrested by Boston Police on suspicion of being the “Craigslist Killer.”
Markoff stands accused of murdering masseuse Julissa Brisman and the robbery of another woman who both advertised their services on Craigslist.
Markoff, originally from New York State but currently living in Quincy, just south of Boston, is believed to be a 2007 graduate of the State University of New York-Albany and studying in the 2011 class at Boston University. Philip Markoff was also engaged, and has a site for his wedding which is still online here.
Markoff had been followed for several days prior to the arrest after police received a tip-off after video footage taken near the scene of one of the crimes was released in an appeal for help. Markoff is expected to be arraigned Tuesday

Medical School is unusually stressful in USA for older students who are in their SECOND & EXPENSIVE college rip off. The US people are VERY stressed due to getting CHARGED for everything they do. No wonder students who are not actually suitable for healthcare (i.e. NOT kind, NOT compassionate, NOT respectful to parents are put into this kind of stress which they cannot handle). The country is also INUNDATED with PORNOGRAPHY sites which can set the “switch off” in some (or most in US) people who already HOLD a lot of hatred for lot of SITUATIONS from their lives. Only in US & Europe do we see children who hate their mother or parents. The parents are hated because they expect parents to spend ALL the money they got or (even money they do not have- on credit) on children. It is a CONSUMER society run by an evil called “Capitalism” (i,e, ripping parents off their savings and charity). Capitalism created “Hatred” in USA. Remember the Menandez children who killed parents & who do not kill the parent s “go around killing strangers”. STOP GUN SALES so these “psychopaths” cannot DO what they “dream” up. PLEASE.

I think Sheran is projecting her hatred toward her own parents. Capitalism is no more guilty of destroying the United States than guns are of killing people. ONLY PEOPLE perpetrate hatred, destruction, and selfishness. If you (Sheran) hate the US as you imply in your response, perhaps you should flee to a socialist country where you can “wait in line” for your life-saving surgery.
