Yolanda Foster’s Husband Speaks Out About Her Lyme Disease Battle

Yolanda Foster continues to battle Lyme disease. Ahead of the start of filming on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 6, Yolanda Foster, who was diagnosed with Lyme disease in 2012, remains in a battle against the devastating illness.

During a June 26 interview with E! News at the premiere of Amy, Yolanda Foster’s husband offered an update on her health.

“She’s doing fair. She’s just trying to work through it… You know, it’s been a tough battle, but she’s a fighter. She’s got big balls. They’re temporarily cut off, but they’ll be back.”

Yolanda Foster was diagnosed with Lyme disease around the time she signed a deal with Bravo to appear on their reality series. Since then, the mother of three has chronicled her health battle with fans on the show, and online. In 2012, during filming on the show’s fifth season, Yolanda Foster suffered a Lyme disease relapse, which left her unable to read, write, and watch television.

After the setback, Yolanda Foster ceased writing blogs, and her role on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season five reunion was limited.

One day prior, on Instagram, Yolanda Foster shared the following message with fans.

“Thanks a Million for riding the wave with me. Uncovering the mystery of chronic disease has been the greatest challenge Of my life. Your kindness and compassion during this journey has been a great source of support. I appreciate all your kind comments and check most your medical suggestions that resonate with me. As you know I am determined to find a cure affordable for all and hopefully life will grant me the opportunity to turn this test into testimony. Lyme disease is a global epidemic growing in the shadows so please be aware and educate yourself #OneMollionThankYou’s #OneDayAtATime.”

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Yolanda Foster’s role on the upcoming sixth season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has yet to be officially announced. However, there have been a number of rumors in regard to her Bravo future. Following reports of Brandi Glanville’s firing, People Magazine claimed Foster, as well as Kim Richards, would also be left out of Season 6. Hours later, E! News denied the report, alleging no decision had yet been made.

“Calm down, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fans. News of Yolanda Foster’s exit from the series is not true… Brandi Glanville and Kim Richards are off the show, but Yolanda is staying put… for now.”
