The Viral Tom Cruise Lookalike In The Pakistan Air Force Looks Nothing Like Tom Cruise
A picture of a Tom Cruise lookalike who is in the Pakistan Air Force has gone viral, after people supposedly noticed the similarities between the man and the iconic actor.
There’s just one teeny, tiny problem though: he looks nothing like Tom Cruise.
The online community started to go nuts over a JF-17 pilot earlier this week after the man, who was later identified as Squadron leader Yasir Mudasser, was pictured briefing the ambassador of Pakistan to Italy, Ms. Tehmina Janjua, at the Paris Air Show.

As soon as the image was uploaded, various users started to comment on the fact that Mudasser looked exactly like Tom Cruise’s character from Top Gun, Pete “Maverick” Mitchell, which helped to turn the American actor into the icon he is today.

The remarks recognising just how much Yasir Mudasser looked like Tom Cruise soon extended beyond the original post too.

Meanwhile, during a conversation with the AFP, via Dunya News, Mudasser admitted that he was humbled by the attention. “It’s funny,” he remarked. “One never imagine that you’ll get this kind of attention when you’re training day-in, day-out.”
Unfortunately, to me at least, I can’t really see the resemblance between Mudasser and the Magnolia, Edge Of Tomorrow, and Mission Impossible actor. Other than the fact that both of them have a preference for wearing aviator sunglasses.
