Royal Baby Meet-And-Greet: Prince William Takes Prince George To Meet New Sister In #RoyalBaby Celebration

Royal baby arrival day has arrived in full glory. And for little Prince George, that means a chance to visit his new sister in the company of his father Prince William and mother Duchess Kate, reported People.

At 21-months-old, Prince George can’t quite comprehend all the fuss. But the little boy was happy to reunite with his mother in the Lindo Wing of St. Mary’s Hospital in London.

While Duchess Kate was in labor with Prince William by her side, George was staying with Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo, who is his nanny. But with the new royal baby safely arrived, Will headed back to Kensington Palace to retrieve his son.

Arriving in style in a black Range Rover, Prince William tried to get Prince George to walk into the hospital. But when the little boy lifted his arms in the universal toddler plea to be lifted into someone’s arms, William obediently obeyed the tiny royal command. He also encouraged his son to wave at the cheering mob while gently kissing him.

It was deja vu all over again for Prince William, who was taken to the same hospital to greet newly arrived Prince Harry in 1984.

Prince George got acquainted with his baby sister for an hour before heading home to try to understand the surprising fact that he now has to share his parents with a new creature.

Weighing 8 pounds, 3 ounces, the new royal baby is doing well, reported CNN.

She is fourth in line for the throne. Those ahead of her include proud grandpa Prince Charles, her doting daddy Prince William, and Prince George.

As the Inquisitr reported, Princess Diana delivered both Prince Harry and Prince William in the same hospital as Duchess Kate’s babies. Princess Kate was in labor for only a few hours before social media spread the news.

Kensington Palace made the official announcement.

“Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was safely delivered of a daughter at 8.34am. The baby weighs 8lbs 3oz. The Duke of Cambridge was present for the birth. The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Harry and members of both families have been informed and are delighted with the news. Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well.”

The royal baby’s name has not yet been announced, but many are wondering whether Duchess Kate and Prince William will honor Princess Diana in that way. The most popular names thus far are Alexandra, Elizabeth, Charlotte, Diana, and Camilla, reported the Daily Mail.

Why Alexandra? It’s one of the Queen’s middle names. But Alice also is highly popular, with a long history of royalty. As for the sentimental favorite, the money is on Diana, while Camilla could honor the baby’s grandmother.
