Gov. Chris Christie Goes After Warren Buffett During Piers Morgan Appearance

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is sick and tired of hearing billionaire Warren Buffett talk about how rich people need to be taxed more and he made his feelings known during this weeks appearance on CNN with Peirs Morgan.

According to the governor Warren “should just write a check and shut up.”

Christie continues:

“I’m tired of hearing about it. If he wants to give the government more money, he’s got the ability to write a check — go ahead and write it.”

Before he made his check writing comment against the Berkshire Hathaway founder Chris told Morgan:

“I’m so tired of talking about Warren Buffett. What are you going to bring up next, his secretary?”

Warren Buffett has been receiving a lot of press lately as he continues his attack against the ultra-rich and their lobbying efforts to avoid paying higher taxes under the guise that they are “job creators.”

To bring home the point that taxes are unfairly balanced Warren Buffet’s secretary attended President Obama’s State of the Union address after mentioning that she pays a higher tax bracket then her billionaire boss.

Unfortunately under President Obama’s budget last week the issue of higher taxes for people making $1 million or more was not addressed to which the current administration said the “Buffett Rule” is meant to be a guideline when Congress take up tax reform in the future.

In the meantime President Obama may be able to take Chris Christie head-on should Mitt Romney win the GOP Presidential nomination, Christie has been named as a potential Vice President running mate.

Do you think Warren Buffett should shut up or is Christie just attempting to quite the tax bracket issue which will likely be an attack point for President Obama during his attempt to become reelected?
